@21PSJ There are a bunch of options, I only use my axiom at home with my macbook(early 08 model). I use a USB cable for the keyboard and run an external sound card for my speakers. I think it is a fine keyboard and recommend it. there are several people, professional and amateur, that use them live and in the studio without issues. The only problem I have had is key mapping, not the actual process of mapping the keyboard to soft ware, but getting my software(Logice Express 8) to remember it.

But before you can use it well on a slow laptop, you need an audio interface or dac like "miditech audioface 2". Costs 30$. This makes it so you can play without lag.

Good luck finding one of these.

Ps: if you use a mac, never go near these things as theyre utter SHIT when used with a mac.

I'd go for an akai mpk49 or akai mpk61 if you use mac. Its the tits quality and has an awesome drumpad. Built like a tank, but it looks like one too. It's much better quality then this one though! Heck, buy it if youre using windows too ;)

Ableton Live Lite always upgrades for free to the latest version, so register it with Ableton's website and you can download Lite 8 for free. Nice keyboard, wish you had more to the video though :)
