This is no different from what Alonso did to Hamilton in the pits of Hungary 2007......Please realize people in order to win Championships you need a beast-like attitude. @supercooled Ohhhhhh Leaf fan low blow ;) Ok so you've decided to pull out the one size fits all comment..that's very typical...way to hide behind the diplomacy and stating the OBVIOUS! Regardless of what your opinion is..fact is it takes a ruthless attitude to be a consistent winner in "Sport". Schumachers competitiveness is world class.
Schumacher is like that bad villain in movies who keeps trying the same kinds of things sequel after sequel and keeps saying 'One day I will get away with it!' followed by an evil laugh while he's petting his white cat. I really wish he had Heidfeld's accent. ;)
so many many blind people!! i can not unterstand it... loook at the wheels bevor he crashes!!! the right wheel is straight forward while the left wheel is on the way to the right corner and he is putting the steeringwheel 180 degrees to the right, the steering was damaged before he crashes so he couldnt get the corner!!!!!
Regardless of what people say the video shows it was not deliberately, and the guy is still the greatest of all time. Losers always find something to whine about...
@de0xyrib0se exactly how does this video show that he didn't do it on purpose? you can see he had plenty of time too keep turning right, but he let his steering wheele go straight again and when there was no time left he started turning right again. And if it wasn't on purpose why doesn't he talk too the reporters about the incident???
Schumacher wants to win like every driver. Sometimes it goes too far, but you must ask yourself, what driver does not try to win?
Schumacher tried harder than all the other, and although he was wrong sometimes, ultimately it made him win a whole lot more than anybody else.
So quite complaining. He is the best and always will be. He has nothing to prove in 2010, just let the man enjoy motorsports! He's better than all you fuckers!
@LiteSpeedProductions well a lot of F1 drivers in the history were aggressive sometimes over the limits but he is a gay-cheater...remember hill villineuve barrichelo monaco...f1 sport lost his credibility because of him and briattore..as for the fuckers..yes i fuck a lot lately..how do you know?
Schumacher is the best F1 driver ever. The statistics say so. You can criticise him here and there for some of the things he did, but you can't take the achievements away from the man. He dominated F1 for 10 years solid and no-one could come close. Before you say silly things criticising him, take a good hard look at your own life - I doubt you will come within 1% of Schumacher's success. So stop being pathetic losers and salute the man for his greatness rather than criticise
@MrFergburger Ok, let's look at the stats: Fangio: 0.453 wins / GP 0.547 poles / GP 0.434 fast laps / GP 0.5555 World Champion / seasons Schumacher: 0.364 wins / GP 0.272 poles / GP 0.304 fast laps / GP 0.4375 World Champion / seasons Fangio has 5 titles in only 7 seasons and beats schumacher in average wins, poles and fastest laps. who has made the stupid statement?
@Topao Yes, it is better. Because rather than give up at 5 like Fangio, Schumacher went on to claim 2 more. Fangio was a great driver but he may never have achieved another 2 championships, we'll never know. Fangio gave up rather than push himself harder and further, and that's what let him down
@Topao That argument makes no sense. If he's as good as you're making out, any team would have loved to have him racing for them even at 46
Oh, and a certain someone by the name of Schumacher just came back to F1 and is by far the oldest driver in the field. Age is not a barrier to entry if you're good enough.
Fangio wasn't forced out because of his age; he left because he wanted to.
You totally missed the point again. He couldn't race when he was younger and at his peak, because simply there wasn't F-1 at the time. To acomplish everything he did at this age, with so few seasons, is much more impressive than what Schumacher did.
Fangio won a title in every one of the 4 differnt teams he raced, and ddiddn' rely in the best car to win.
Your argument makes no sense too. He quitted in 2006, when Alonso and Raikkonen were kicking his butt. Age was a barrier for him
@Topao Firstly, Rosberg is a very good driver. Secondly Schumacher doesn't need to beat him. Schumacher could race round the circuit backwards in a wheelchair and come last, it wouldn't matter.
Roberg is hardly mediocre. He was stuck driving uncompetitive Williams cars for 4 seasons. Rosberg was GP2 champion and had the fastest lap in his first ever Formula 1 race in 2006. Very few other drivers have managed that.
Fangio probably could have raced two or three years more but he knew very well one day he could crash and kill himself. It happened to many drivers in the 50's. Ascari, Vukovich, Hawthorn, Collins, Stuart Lewis-Evans.
Fangio did compete in two races of the 1958 season, but by then Moss was winning with the rearengined Cooper, and Moss said Fangio admitted to him he didn't think he could ever learn how to drive one of those rear engined cars competitively after driving front engined cars.
Fangio was 47 when he quit. When he won his last title in 1957 he was 46 and beating young fast guys in their 20's like Hawthorn, Collins, Moss and Brooks.
Fangio's win in Nurburgring in 1957 is the stuff of legends. Beating the lap record with 10 seconds for every new lap. Overtaking the two Ferraris in the last few corners from two minutes back and winning the race. Besides the 250F Maserati was hardly the best car in 1957 and was essentially a modified 1954 car.
Did you ever take the AVERAGE percentage into account?
Races won for the number of races competed?
Poles for races competed?
Fastest laps?
Podiums?
Senna had Prost as team mate for two seasons. Mansell had Piquet. Clark had Hill. Fangio had Farina and Moss. What team mates did Schumacher ever have? None were even winners before joining Benetton or Ferrari.
Look up this good F1 stats page called StatsF1. There you can click the PERCENTAGE folder to see how the drivers compare in wins, poles, podiums and fastest laps on average. Which is a far more telling figure.
You sir are an idiot. Avatar may have made the most money, but if you take INFLATION into account it's currently in 14'th place of all time. That is a fact, whereas you only count today's money and forget inflation. This is an example btw.
I've never heard of an idiot not realizing the average is the one that reveals the TRUTH
Senna had 65 poles in 161 starts
Schumacher 68 poles in 252 starts. Are you going to say Schumacher is a better qualifier when he needed a lot more races to beat Senna's record?? Schumacher's 65'th pole came in his 233'th start.
Here's something for ya. Lewis Hamilton has currently a better pole to races contest ratio than Schumacher. So has Fangio, Clark, Ascari. Hamilton is still very young...
On the other hand, are the other drivers all saints? Some hide fuel within the car (BAR)..., some use illegal tyres that changed during the race? (Williams)...some steal a fucking manual on how to make a Ferrari? (Maclaren)..., some fix a race by a premeditated crash? (Renault) Need I go on? How many times did other drivers push someone off the track? JPM, and even Senna. Get a bloody grip you baboon!
he made a mistake nothing too serious, not it's okay to be little cheating but hey, all drivers have done things like this including senna prost etc. .. and this prove he's ready for all to win ^^
if you pause the video right before he turns straight again he has plenty of room to make the swing...
Even though I've heard a lot of people saying that he is under-steering, but you're forgetting one thing! TRACTION CONTROL! The bitch is not even going any fast...
And do you know how many drivers have done the same of Schumacher here? For example, the day after this, in the GP2 race, another driver stopped in the same position in the same angle... involuntarily! Or Alonso in Australia 2009 in qualification... And so on...
But again, Senna was dirtier than Schumacher. In adition, Schumi never crashed into another driver at more than 200 kmh
interesting how Schumacher finished ahead of Senna in the 1992 champhionchip wit an inferior car. schumacher didnt mean to crash in to Hill, and maybe in to villeneuve as well(but in this case is hard to say).
hunt2727, ok. I should not call you child or something... We can discuss with respect.
So, 1988 Senna was the World Champion, 1989 Senna would be the World Champion if Balastre was a Honest man. 1990 he was the world champion and 1991 too. In 1992 with a Ford, his car was nothing, ok he lost against Schumacher, but in 1993 Schumacher lost againt Senna. So what?
Senna never use an ilegal system to win! Senna was a world champion with Prost as a team mate! What about Schumacher?
And again, Senna was very very dangerous. And he even crashed at more than 200 kmh against other driver.
Schumacher never.
Never.
Senna, probably the most dangerous and dirty driver of ever- (Although I admire him as one of the best drivers of ever, not as good as Schumacher, but not very far)
study this vid! it shows that he was not even stepping on the brake when he stopped! at the closer view where it shows you the cockpit, look very carefully when something blew under the chassis, he tried to clear out of the way as much as he can so i dont see any form of cheating here! :)
msc hugged the inside wall coming up to the apex of the turn. thats not even a proper racing line. nobody follows that line into that turn at monaco. msc hasnt ever done this before. it looks intentional. watch any onboard of anyone at la rascasse and youll see that he took an odd racing line. im not a professional racer and even i wouldnt apex that turn so poorly.
you said i quote you: "Schumi is big fat cheat and a prick is abit over the top" and with that you said"look at suzuka 1990..." - no comparison?? cmon mate ;)
and you will find this one thing in sennas career where he cheats. i can name at least 5-8 facts where schumacher cheats. so come down and agree schumacher = schummler ;)
The slightest error in Monaco means touching the barriers and damaging the car (remember Senna in 88 and Hamilton in 08. Schumi was very carreful not to touch the wall, but still parking on the track. If it is a driver error it means a crash!
Are you kidding me this was not deliberate. At 0:02 you can see his back end is lost slightly and it screws up his line. At 0:04 you can tell he is trying to turn but he is not in the racing line so he had to correct himself but it was to late and he didnt have enough room to turn causing himself to"park"the car.
He is definitely a great driver perhaps the greatest, but there is a fine line between aggressive racing and cheating and I think many think he cheated a few times
Buffone ,they said, and that's exacly what he is.He should learn to walk on his own legs like Senna ,Montoya or Hakkinen without Barrichello,Massa and Sauber and all the dirty joke that always stopped other clean driver.....Buffone.
like villeneuve said, you have to be a bad ass driver to do a mistake like this, and its not,he is a cheater...he simply thinks he can do what ever he like....
the car slid once, schumi corrected it, but he simply went straight on the second time he therefore ran out of room. deliberate? if the marshalls decided to penalize him it must have been for a reason..
Buffone ,they said, and that's exacly what he is.He should learn to walk on his own legs like Senna ,Montoya , Hakkinen or Alonso ,without Barrichello,Massa and Sauber ,Fia and Judges and all the dirty joke that always stopped other correct drivers.....Buffone.
Buffone ,they said, and that's exacly what he is.He should learn to walk on his own legs like Senna ,Montoya or Hakkinen without Barrichello,Massa and Sauber and all the dirty joke that always stopped other clean driver.....Buffone.
he made sure he didnt get a scratch on his car, and he didnt try to get going again. all the sponsers on that turn are ferrari sponsers. definatly a delibrate move
in fact they are almost the same i mean alonso and schumacher. Both hard working and goal oriented but both assholes, ready to pull a dirty trick in sake of wining. Kinda dont like tham both
Watch Monza 2003 hight light just for example and you ll understand that "something"was wrong!!Listen Briatore!!!So...baby schumy should to learn to walk on his own legs..withouth Barrichello ,Sauber, and Politic..!! Obviously Montoya has been above all this, showing to all the world what is a natural talent driver you can't stop.If people ignore all this is because many of them watch to much television and they usually think following the mainstream.Watch things carefully and you ll understand
well, a smart way to block alonso was to hit deliberately the inside wall in the rascase. Then I don't believe anyone would have told him anything. But instead, he chose the wrong way :/
Schumacher's stupidity in Monaco and his stubborness in Hungary is what costed him the championship in 2006. Not this bullshit about his car giving up in Japan.
Ferrari and Schumacher would stop at nothing to cheat f1.
Eveyone knows he'e a good driver but come on you don't drive into other drivers (hill & villeneuve) also overtake Barrichello on the last lap to win points!!
I have been watching f1 far to long to fall for all that crap!
Glad to see the spanish prick back at Renault,
It should be good to see the mclaren blast past him in 2008 , Bing it on!
Well Kimi had hitted wall earlier and had suspension failure and Felipe was too close and was blocked by Kimi. Michael didn't have suspension failure and there was no other obvious reason to do that except trying to harm Alonso's lap
please watch my video response it will show thta alonso wasn't able to beat schumacher's time. he had in 07 exactly the same trajectory as in 06. maybe he lost only 0.001 thanks
they would have been penalized for sure. remember alonso getting penalty after spending longer time in the pitlane before hamilton?? shumi always gets away
Michael did that on purpose... Alot of interviews was revealed after this qualify where they showed some of "mistakes" that apeared causing others to loose positions in the race, done by MS... He's a cheater and the first one I've seen is the MS vs D. Hill
This is great commentary wish i could listen to this channel for all the races. There is a better video up now though which compares the normal line he took into the corner confirming he did in fact park on purpose. I like the ran out of fuel idea, imaginative, but they have to start the race with the fuel they qualified with.
his car dint run out of fuel and alonso didnt still get pole, and he did do it on purpose so dont cry about it. everyone knows he cheated whether it was planned beforehand or not, he meant to park the car. its obvious
It wasnt even schumachers fault! Why would he block him anyway, when he wos already catchin up Alonso in the championship! And Alonso still got pole so them stupid stewards should have left it!
In reality he should have never been punished. He never ment to do that, it was just driver error. That punishment was to harsh, a hefty fine would be sufficient.
Its F1 what more do u want, Win at all costs, no matter how moral or legal And you all trash talk NASCAR lmfao

What about Schumacher?
rafacosta2 2 years ago 2
And again, Senna was very very dangerous. And he even crashed at more than 200 kmh against other driver.
Schumacher never.
Never.
Senna, probably the most dangerous and dirty driver of ever- (Although I admire him as one of the best drivers of ever, not as good as Schumacher, but not very far)

study this vid! it shows that he was not even stepping on the brake when he stopped! at the closer view where it shows you the cockpit, look very carefully when something blew under the chassis, he tried to clear out of the way as much as he can so i dont see any form of cheating here! :)

ayrtonsenna1960 2 years ago
msc hugged the inside wall coming up to the apex of the turn. thats not even a proper racing line. nobody follows that line into that turn at monaco. msc hasnt ever done this before. it looks intentional. watch any onboard of anyone at la rascasse and youll see that he took an odd racing line. im not a professional racer and even i wouldnt apex that turn so poorly.

you said i quote you: "Schumi is big fat cheat and a prick is abit over the top" and with that you said"look at suzuka 1990..." - no comparison?? cmon mate ;)
and you will find this one thing in sennas career where he cheats. i can name at least 5-8 facts where schumacher cheats. so come down and agree schumacher = schummler ;)

What was he thinkig?
The slightest error in Monaco means touching the barriers and damaging the car (remember Senna in 88 and Hamilton in 08. Schumi was very carreful not to touch the wall, but still parking on the track. If it is a driver error it means a crash!

I agree.. it was not a block.. he just turned to the right very very early and see.. he even tried to turn left and turn right but it was too late..

Are you kidding me this was not deliberate. At 0:02 you can see his back end is lost slightly and it screws up his line. At 0:04 you can tell he is trying to turn but he is not in the racing line so he had to correct himself but it was to late and he didnt have enough room to turn causing himself to"park"the car.

thats always a problem with extremely ambitious and competitive people, sometimes they make the wrong decisions, so did Schumi a few times.

He is definitely a great driver perhaps the greatest, but there is a fine line between aggressive racing and cheating and I think many think he cheated a few times

Didn't Ayrton Senna stay on track and tried to prevent other races from taking his pole position in Monaco 1985?
Didn't Alonso block his teammate in Hungary 2007?
No denying that the penalty was fair but I am just wondering where does this hate come from?

villeneuve2fast4you 2 years ago 3
the car slid once, schumi corrected it, but he simply went straight on the second time he therefore ran out of room. deliberate? if the marshalls decided to penalize him it must have been for a reason..

MadDuckman 5 years ago
his car dint run out of fuel and alonso didnt still get pole, and he did do it on purpose so dont cry about it. everyone knows he cheated whether it was planned beforehand or not, he meant to park the car. its obvious
