The game looks quite well done, and it has almost has a borderlands appearance - although no 2d backgrounds (plus)- It will ease the pain of waiting for borderlands 2 sometime in 2012. I heart you (All Homo;)

I've been watching it on Bethesdas channel, and I actually thought it was pretty cool, and it was one of the few games I was thinking about buying, but I haven't played Borderlands(seen it though), so I wouldn't know if it's a copy, but... I think that Rage will be a fantastic game because I.D hasn't failed me on any games so far. I love RPGs, and the post-apocalyptic universe is always awesome. I haven't seen too much game play of it, but I really doubt it's a copy of any games, even if it may take a few ideas. Also, never stop growing Jeff, everything you do is hilarious, and even if you are bad at some games sometimes, we all love you the same.

I think RAGE is borderlands when it comes to some art style but will be much more advanced. It has weapons to buy and srmor but no levelling of your character. I think the game single player will be a success and because its multiplayer fails to have deathmatch or capture the flag etc it MAY flop. I think the deathrace is intriguing and only time will tell. I have wanted the game for months, I just haven't had the time nor finances yet.

I haven't played Rage (but I'd like it) but from what I can tell, its IDsoft's first game thats not only on the PC, which is quite a bold move. Not only that, its using there new engine, which boasts 60FPS at all times on all platforms with huge scaling ability. IDsoft invented the FPS, they do FPS very well. No coverbased bullshit here. This is how FPS where meant to be played. Fast and hard with AI that will punish you for sucking your noob ass around the map.
