very nice version! this is in f#/gb major but the studio version is in f major..perhaps they had to lower the key for steve to hit the climactic note? in this original key he would have had to hit a soprano a#/b flat!!

The website I got this from claimed affiliation with Perry, however how true this is we will never know. I do not know if he authorized the music release. He has been quoted as saying he wasn't happy with bootlegs finding their way on-line.

This song is definitely on Journey's Infinity album wriiten by Steve Perry and Neal Schon.
I can't tell who the speaking voice belongs to. It could be Steve Perry but it sounds like Neal Schon to me.

Wow!!!! I bet Arnel Pineda's voice can't reach anywhere near that high.Is that Neal Schon saying 'that was great' etc? Steve Perry's singing voice is more than great. It is truly one of a kind. It is such a shame so many of us know that and a certain guitarist forgot that fact.

@eljay345 I don't for know sure if this is with Journey or Alien Project. The version released on Infinty is written by SP & NS, but I don't know if it was by SP and then re-written for Journey. I think it's Steve saying "that was great", but I could be wrong.
