it all sounded so wonderful until you said you had it conected to a roof areil whats the point of paying 80 pound when you can just conect your laptop to your tv with a vga cable

I have just bought this device. I have tuned and retuned using the small ariel, and then the larger ariel provided with the device.

I am in an area that has excellent reception. I cannot get a single channel, with either ariel option. I suspect with a rooftop ariel it will probably work, but it makes the concept of having a portable TV with my Mac redundant, as I wanted this option when travelling about.

I will let you know if Elgato get it working.

It goes from bad to worse.

Elgato - no reply as yet.

There is a software upgrade to overcome the No signal problem, installed this, tried again, twice, nothing.

I changed windows, as it suggested, from a metal frame, to the sucker thing supplied. The sucker doesn't stay on the glass for more than about two minutes. The ariel is too heavy for it.

This product is a heap of tush!

wow that woman on the jeremy kyle show looked like...a woman who would appear on the jeremy kyle show. Great review, but is the tiny arial very good at displaying the picture? and what method of getting a signal did you use while recording this video?

Little tiny aerial is only good in very good signal strength areas. For this review i was using a roof aerial with a booster.

@Danny77uk No Danny, I strongly disagree with you. Using others as an example, all magazines get loaned stuff to review. They perform unbiased reviews, the manufacturers respect that, and then improve on their previous designs.

For myself, I have been reviewing products for five years. If something is bad, for example a mobile phone with bad camera, I tell people in my review. It has nothing to do with sponsorship at all. All my reviews are totally unbiased.
