Your daughter reminds me of mine except mine was super chubby. Now that mine is almost six, she's grown tall and slender. I miss all of that sweet plumpness. Everywhere we'd go, people would squeeze and want to hold her. Not being in the US, it's fine but I wouldn't do that here. Anyway, you're little one is super cute and I don't know who these people are criticizing you because she's big for her age. When my daughter was 2, everyone thought she was 5 because of her size.
that is so cool. I agree with some of the statements below. I think everyone should learn how to swim. Start teaching kids very early. here in Phoenix, we always hear of two or three incidences where a little child falls in a pool and drowns. I grew up in Wisconsin and Missouri and was constantly swimming in lakes and rivers. I don't remember a time when I couldn't swim.
i learned how to swim in kindergarten i figured it out by myself cuz niether of my parents can swim so it sucked but im 13 now and am an excellent swimmer and she will be 2
It's good to teach them at a young age, when she's older she will be able to save herself if she ends up in a situation with no one around. Thats the best gift of all n_n
Those are my sentiments exactly. After I taught her to swim, I taught her how to get out of the pool without the steps or ladder. That was difficult to do because I taught her how to swim before she could really speak. It was worth all of the work. Her mom is terrified of the water so I figured I better get a jump on the swimming thing before she could get scared too. I am glad my mom taught me to swim while I was still in diapers.
She is sooo talented! That's amazing! She's really pretty too... just please be careful. Swimming is one thing... but if she gets used to wearing a bikini at THAT young of an age, who know's what she will be wearing when she's a teenager. Children always go one or two steps beyond what their parents will allow... And heaven knows, you get what you dress for. I wish I would have realized that at a young age.
best to teach them at a young age- my mum left it till i was 13 and its much harder mentally. x
