@jamockor savage i like better i had it for about 2 months and only broke diff erevo for 2 months broke couple diffs shaft a arms a lot then servo esc hubs

It jus seems stupid to me to have so much power and have a open diff. It's like having a nitro meth funny car with an open diff. Good luck keeping that straight My e revo needs it bad. Plus I hear the stock diffs are very weak.

Ya iv always liked the savage I have a nitro savage w axil.28 and it's never let me down.

But I can't really find any positive feedback about the xs. If it dosent burn outa the box it burns 10 15 min supposedly? (@3s) Its too bad cause The erevo is jus too small and lite im really surprised I haven't broke nething yet. Do you know If there's a way to lock the rear diff in the erevo? Do they sell spools for them?

Hey cool video. I had jus bought a savage xs and it jus started smoking when I put the 3s lipo in so I took it back to the hobby store and exchanged it for another and it did the same thing. I hear the savage xs ha lots of problems. Its too bad the savage looks like a good truck. I ended up buying a erevo vxl and wow this thing is tuff and fast!!!2weeks in and no problems yet!

@jeff115gsr you could say that just a bad esc and same with other one i send some esc in for traxxas and they send me back brand new never open and they where bad so that is not the problem if you would back like i do in other video your mini erevo wont hold for longer then 3 min savage stile not one part change all stock and stronger then fully upgraded vxl

me and my uncle go run in a parking lot and he has the xs and i have the mini revo and the revo almost keeps up to it and i havent broke a part yet and he breaks a part every time out

I've driven both cars, and i gotta say the Revo's a thousand times better than the flux. It just handles alot nicer. Sure, it breaks a little more often than it should, and yes it does require a little maintanance, but not as much as the flux does. Also, add to the fact that the Revo's suspension is one-of-a-kind for an offroad RC. Sure, not saying it's the best or the fastest truck on earth, but let's see you put these trucks on a track and see who ends up winning.

I don't mean to be starting up any arguements, but the mini e-revo seems to be getting put down too much lately. Mine's lasted through stuff like soaring 20 feet in the air with rough landings and has always came out fine, so don't make it sound like an exceed kit. What I can point out is the e-revo is truly RTR, i've heard quite a few complaints about the hassle of maintenance with the XS. So in overall ratings it actually balances out.

@dtmpowerboss well it depends on how much you're bashing it. if you're giving it the same beating as a bigger kit then yes its gonna be more prone to breaking. Of course RPM is the solution many turn to for that, it works and isnt too spendy to get. Lots of people actually like the mini e-revo, its a little demon and can do some crazy stuff. I'm not saying the XS is a bad kit, I'm just saying that people are unfairly judging the e-revo by comparison to it.

@BashMonkeyRC yeah yeah stile i had flux xs and never broke a part only shock end erevo 2-4 esc burned motor start to brake who knows how many a arms sharft wing moung body mounts ..............................­........ goes on and on then you have to by rpm aluminum all and staff i took xs to skate park there is video of it and boy it was flaying and land hard and broke noting haha that was funny nothing

i ended up buy the traxxas slash inste thanks thou, think the XS came out way to fast and im just going to wait a year till the bugs and flaws are all out of it

@traxxasBashFreak Now everyone knows you were right. I guess deep down we just wanted some other company to beat Traxxas for once. However this time Traxxas wins hands down. Just try and get to the servo on the XS savage or anything else for that matter. The savage truck's body wins over the e-revo but who cares? I want to have fun not a $300 shelf queen.
