  • how did you get the belly racer in black?

  • Which one would you recommend for downhill/freeriding? I've been looking into both of these and I just cant decide.

  • @BlackSchaap I cant decide either!

  • How much did the Earthwing weigh?

  • calibers, belly racer, yellow big zigs. Ordered a week ago. Please say no wheelbite...

  • @BlueyFromMelbShuffle how big risers i need?

  • @SunshineCoastSliding

It really depends on your bushings. Cupped washers will be your friends.

  • There's a Fullbag that looks just like these also. Can't remember what it's called. Never got much into Fullbag.

  • S9 Lacey ftw

  • 75 mm wheels for voodoo doll be fine? no byte? for dh?

  • @mrlongboarding100 Yep, even with no riser

  • "Let's go down to the rear"...That's what she said

  • At the shortest wheelbase, how long (roughly) is the belly racer's nose and tail?

  • which one is better if im gonna be doing alot of freeride and a little dh?

  • @bobomomo23

Belly racer. I have one and it is so sick for freeriding.

You could also do the symetrical voodoo doll.

  • @bobomomo23 I would go with the doll. bigger wheel wells. and there is a sym. version.

  • 1 seacalf lbl

    2 agent orange

    3 belly racer

    4 comet

from best to worse, but in real life is 90% you and 10% the set up

  • @mikisaikano the calf has no cutouts... maybe a good dh deck, but not versatile what so ever.

  • @ShittinTrains it has wheel wells?

  • @ShittinTrains the seacalf was designed to be a DH board. But if you set it up right you can freeride the hell out if it. My friend had his set up with indy 215s and RFs. did everything on it. his was a cow though.

  • @PERRONmedia fair enough. i would still pick the belly. the doll has mediocre construction and the belly is pretty sick.

  • @ShittinTrains I can understand picking one company over another because of shape, construction, ride...etc....but there is no reason to say comet has mediocre construction. EW and Comet are both high reputable companies who supply great products at close to the same price. If you think about it, both companies constructions can't be very different. Just my thoughts, unless you have reason to say that, you statement is invalid. I have had a comet board for over a year, and its still going strong

  • @PERRONmedia its great yours has lasted. comet uses a biodegradable adhesive for all of their veneers and it has 2 main issues: 1. water can actually break it down

    2. it is just not as strong as normal glue, so they tend to de-lam.

the shapes are top notch (except the fsm which is prone to snapping), and the cave is pretty sick.

i was going to buy a voodoo D2 instead of my belly racer, but i was advised against it by both my local shops, and skate buddies alike.

  • @ShittinTrains I understand, they have had a lot of good and bad reviews from a lot of people. But I wouldn't say there construction is mediocre, I would say different, and for some people un-wanted.

  • @PERRONmedia The decks are fantastic, but, I just don't see the merit in a less well made deck for more money. I paid 85 bucks for my belly racer, and I hit ramps, early grab stairs, and ride in the rain from time to time. For any freeride application or even wet DH or a stray board vs. curb situation a weak deck sounds kind of silly. I don't want to start a fight on the internet, but logic dictates that strong is better...

  • @ShittinTrains Not trying to fight ether, but comets boards can take abuse. But I do agree that EW boards are more durable then comet's boards are. But for some people they want that rocker. Some people don't.

  • @PERRONmedia Rocker is good. Very good. Hahaha

  • i know the guy who did the design for the voodoo doll.

  • @jollyholly That's awesome jollyholly. You must be special.

  • i got the voodoo doll from you and love it the set up is great but i am geting into the demonseed

  • @crazybanana555 demonseed FTW! I love mine for freeride.

the bellyracer looks awesome....personally I don't like comet boards much for DH because I don't like the rocker very much...but great boards non the less..............I have had the Voodoo XL and the pagan...the pagan is an amazing all around board.

  • @PERRONmedia yeah i am gonna use it for that and down hill but comets are good
