  • God Bless Brad Stine! This is the TRUTH. I loved this(:

  • Truth is truth yes great message!

  • Excellent outro. Amen.

  • "I saw Him die. And I saw Him come back." Amen.

  • "So you're saying I should jsut believe in Jesus so I don't go to Hell? Pretty much."

This video was probably one of his most serious ones ever, and I'm glad he ended it with laughter.

    Go BRAD!!

  • I believe Brad Stine does more for witnessing and bringing people who don't believe to the Faith, more than many Pastors or Priests do. He's fantastic.

  • Iam getting so tired if the pc church that if we say this some will happen and I say so what.that would mean I will be with Jesus abit early and one are sister in Christ is with the lord and she has finish the race and she is felling no more pain.rip evelen.I want to finish the race

  • Every time I hear this I'm blown away.

  • This guy is so right on, Praise the Lord for giving this guy the boldness to step up and tell things like they are.

Did you know that it is the Bible that archaeologists use more then any other to find out where places are. They say its the best but then God doesn't make junk.

  • Amen!!!!!!!

  • The churches teach that Hell is an eternal place of torment. The Bible teaches that hell is the common grave of man, In Hebrew and Greek, When the Bible mentions the term, Eternal place of torment, it is explaining that, the worst possible thing to happen to man, is to be eternally separated from God, and His Christ. Total separation meaning, the person remains in his ( hell ) grave, eternally, never to see the light of day. The language of the scripture is figureative.

  • @galileegirl Luke 16 KJV. Vs. 23. " And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off"... Vs 24: " And he cried and said, father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for i am tormented in this flame." hell is real. the lake of fire is also real. REV 20: 14. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

  • @galileegirl the Bible does say that those who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior will be eternally separated from God. but it also teaches that hell is an actual place

  • @galileegirl That said, even if that were true, what would you rather happen? Eternal night, cold dampness as you slowly feel your body rot away? Or have a new vessel for your spirit, one that feels no pain or sorrow.

Either way, whether hell is a real place or not, the future of a non-believer you paint is pretty bleak compared to the alternative.

  • @Truex007 I do agree here with "galileegirl" on this, very simply because hell comes from rejection of God, therefore, hell would be eternal seperation from God. Seperation from God is seperation from love, and love is the source of every joy possible. So I believe that seperation is worse than burning. Burning, however, is a great way to describe pain. But to cut to the chase I don't think that "galileegirl"s version of hell is less scary that the popular. Quite the conrary

  • The Biblical Hell is Sheol in herbrew and Hades in the Greek, and is rendered in saxon as Hellal or a place covered over, and is rendered the common grave of Humanity, Every man is appointed to die Once, and return to the dust from which he came, until Judgement day.

  • @MegaBFF4EVER1 So God dictated the scriptures to the 42 authors of the bible? I don't think God would have made the historical and scientific errors that are obvious, or the copying errors either. None of this matters if you believe the bible to be a spiritual book which is profoundly true, just not literally true. You need an apologist to make it literally true, which is impossible, though they keep trying. Inspiration is insight, but it's still man's rendition of the understanding of it.

  • @MegaBFF4EVER1 It's been too late for 2000 yrs. The message of that beautiful soul called Jesus has been distorted, politically worked and fear has been the tool. I was Christian for 50 yrs. so I know all the arguments. I still believe in God and Jesus as the complete consciousness of God, which is LOVE and FORGIVENESS. The rest is speculation at best and extortion at its worst. Read something besides the bible, it will open your mind, and allow Jesus out of the box.

  • @Tonithenightowl "I was Christian for 50 yrs" -So that means two things. Either, gods a liar, or your a liar. By calling the bible errornious you're calling God a liar. Now I called you a liar a sentence ago. I have no right to do that because I dont know you. If I've taken the time to know you, and understand you I probably wouldnt call you a liar. Its the same way with God. There are no errors in the bible, that I can find anyways. Mans touch will always corrupt, but the words have stay true

  • @GermanConquistador08 What you are saying is the bible is God. That's bible idolatry. I find most fundamentalists fall into this trap. Look up biblical contradictions there are thousands of them. God didn't write the bible. Man did. Jesus never wrote a thing. I often wonder why. Prob bc of what he knew man would do with it.

  • @Tonithenightowl "What you are saying is the bible is God" -No I didnt, and that just proves your bibilical ignorance. The bible is the word of God, and if its wrong than he's wrong. "biblical contradictions there are thousands of them" -Actually the numbers more around ZERO! There is no bibilical contradiction, all the ones I've seen spewed out are misreadings and lack of understanding, not actual biblical mistake.

  • @GermanConquistador08 You are entitled to believe as you preceive. So am I. I don't debate fundies, its a waste of time. Apologists have been doing that forever, explaining the inconsistencies. I believe the bible is like no other book, has lots of wisdom but it is neither a history or science book and is usually confirmed by itself not other sources. It's fine to believe it spiritually it's when taken literally that the problems start. Are you a snake handler and poison drinker too?

  • @MegaBFF4EVER1 Justice for a heinous act is one thing. It's a criminal offense against society. The punishment fits the crime. With fundamental Christianity, good works mean nothing, no matter how sincere, if the doctrine is not met. However, you can kill 20 ppl viciously but if you repent on your deathbed with the right doctrine you are heaven bound. Now you tell me, where is the fairness in this? You have reduced God to a doctrine. I would never be so arrogant to do the same.

  • this is awesome

  • I don't believe in Hell...there's something wrong with believing a loving God would condemn ANYONE to eternal death and burning. I believe he would make their death in a blink of an eye. Why do you think they call it rest in peace? BECAUSE IS SLEEP! Obviously, not literal sleep, but you get what I mean.

  • @OrangeCourage1 Do you believe God is just? And fair. And HOLY?

  • @LadyofNightWake Um...yeah, duh. Sending me to eternal death doesn't sound like ANY of the things you mentioned...sounds like a God of Tyranny. God isn't like that. The Hell theory and anything related to it is a LIE. Trust me.

  • @OrangeCourage1 So if you believe that God is just and fair and holy, then why would He tolerate sin? That would make Him change, and the Scriptures say He is unchangeable. We are seperated from God because of our sin, and yes, hell is real. It's in the Scriptures. God punishes sin. If He didn't, wouldn't that make Him UNjust UNfair, and UNholy?

  • @LadyofNightWake No, of course he doesn't tolerate sin. But he doesn't need to condemn people to eternal suffering to NOT tolerate it. What's the point of Hell if the wicked are destroyed by the brightness of His coming? I'm telling you! some of the things you are being fed were lies governed by evil people! Not your pastor, i'm talking about other people before our time. I can't explain it very well because I'm just now learning it. Ex of lies: the Rapture, Hell, purgatory, immortal soul, etc

  • @OrangeCourage1 You sound like a crazy person. The scriptures talk about the Rapture. Hell is real. Hell was not made for us, but because we are sinners, we are sentanced to death. If He simply overlooked your sins, that would make Him less than holy.

  • @LadyofNightWake I'm a crazy person? No...I was taght differently than you. The scriptures doesn't talk about the rapture. It doesn't say the word rapture. And if it does, then it's been put in there by people who have played with the Word when it shouldn't be changed. Yes, the wages of sin is death but that is what Jesus died for; to make sure we dont die. Hell is not a real place physically; it's a dump in israel. Jerusalem i think. And he doesn't overlook our sins. He grieves them.

  • @LadyofNightWake but he also says that he forgets them. That is, if we ask for forgieness and know we have sinned.

  • @OrangeCourage1 The Bible doesn't say the word 'bible' either but, the Scriptures talk about a great catching up, where two are in the field and one will be taken, two women in a kitchen and one taken. If you reject Jesus you deserve hell. We deserve hell anyway. You can't rationalize sin and you can't deny that we deserve our deaths. We sinned and it was we who put Jesus on the cross. The people that reject Jesus are going to hell, I'm sorry. Salvation doesn't come because of good works.

  • @LadyofNightWake lol i knew you were gonna bring up that scripture...its not about the rapture. its about people who are ready or arent ready for the second coming. they are not the same thing

  • @OrangeCourage1There is a hell and though God is love, people who refuse to turn from their wickedness go to hell. He wants to save but the people that reject Him spit in the face of Jesus sacrifice. We deserve hell because of our rebellion against God and though God doesn't want to send us their sin is still sin and it is punished. I'm sorry if that conflicts with the view of God you have in your head but its in the Scriptures.

  • @OrangeCourage1 Either the Bible is the absolute truth or not, you can't pick what you like and discard the rest.

  • FINALLY a comedian who uses his brain! ;D

  • He is not intelligent. In order to really appreciate one's faith, they have to stop attaching it to a rationalist system-because it is completely and utterly irrational. Rationality is a man-based system which inherently limits things, so God naturally wouldn't be confined to it. It is also important to remember that crucifixion did exist as a punishment during the time he talks about as well as the fact that the Gospels weren't written until decades after Jesus' death. John was done around 90AD

  • @Lemsley12 Not to mention the hundreds of texts which were not included in the original New Testament and, thus, have never been included in the New Testament. Such as: The Gospel of Thomas, The Gospel of Hebrews, and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas in which a young Jesus actually murders another child and then brings him back to life. They weren't included, not because of historical accuracy, but because these writings were more popular with competing Christian churches. So, really, the modern

  • @Lemsley12 Bible is the result of centuries-old church politics driven by a goal to continue to exist and spread during the Roman Empire. That is historical accuracy, my friend.

  • @Lemsley12 I must wonder. You know quite a bit about Christian "history"... why? If you don't believe there is a living God and that the Gospel is truth, why do you know about this?

  • @penspot Because I educated myself during my own journey in order to make educated decisions about Christ. But the fact is that there is too much inconsistency, especially with modern-day Protestant Christians, to honestly believe in it. Most, like Mr. Stine, blindly follow what they are told from a very young age. Following someone or something without question subjects people to manipulation.

  • Wow! That was so cool what he just said

  • My response to this is then God made souls for hell. He knew not all would believe and accept. What kind of a God would purposely do this? Better to have killed them in the womb or as children before the age of reason. Oh wait, that did happen a lot in the bible, meaning geocide was merciful unless you were the one being dashed against those rocks, or sliced out of your mother's womb. Can you imagine their terror?

  • @Tonithenightowl i dont believe God made our souls for hell.he made us with the ability to make our own choices.all of us are born from adam's sinful nature.adam was able to know both good and evil. while this may seem unfair to us,how else would we be able to see God's many characteristics such as grace, love, etc. without being able to compare it to evil? so,i think that God specifically created us with the ability to choose our own paths.

  • @hclarke197 Yes I know this explanation, it's taught in all fundamental Christianity. Believe or burn.

  • this is a great. a wonderful video

  • this is a great video

  • @anistonlover08 Why do you think this guy is smart?

  • Only the strongest among us believe in life after death called Christians, for we stand up for what is good and right instead of giving into the masses! We stand up for what is good not for fear of hell, for perfect love in Christ cast out all such fears, no we do good because and out of our appreciation for what Jesus the Son of God has done for us! For it is by His grace that I am a changed man who by His strength am I even able to do what is right!

  • Sounds like somebody got to these people below my comment.

  • Most of the Christian preaches look like punks.Just a question, did Moses, Jesus and other prophets of God look like this punk who preach BS? He is really fit for a music group where he can sing some songs for dead people.

  • @voiceofreasoning he's not a preacher he's a comedian

  • Too much religion for my taste, but still pretty funny.

  • i love this guy hes just so real rofl

  • HAHA I LOVE THIS GUY!!! Kinda Cheesy comedian, but he speaks raw truth...awesome. just what we need!

  • this guys a fucking retard.

  • @Futureboy2026 dude...not cool...this guys trying to spread the word of god and u sit there and say that? try to be more conciderate of other ppls beliefs...im not saying u dont have a right to give an opinion its just the way u said it that was wrong...

  • @masterofawesomeness1 lmao spreading the word of God? I'm so lucky i grew out of believing such nonsense.

And it seems like this guy isn't so considerate towards anyone who doesn't believe in "God", is he?

  • @Futureboy2026 he's not politically correct and feminine about what he believes is right. He's not trying to soften things up, he's being honest and true to what he thinks.

Nothing about that clip at all suggests that he's not considerate about unbelievers except the "pretty much" at the end. Do you know why that's got you thinking that? Because that's the part where he's just being honest.

How can you respect him otherwise if he pussyfoots around everything and tries to make it comfortable?

  • @RenegadeMaster07 Agreed. If you're wrong, you're wrong. I'm sorry if you're offended if I tell you 2+2=4, and all these years, you thought it was 6, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't tell you. You'll end up messing so many things up if you have the wrong answers. It's our job to at least get you thinking. The problem is everything these days is so freaking politically correct. If you can't stand Christianity, move back to England, because I believe we showed up here for freedom of religion!

  • @RenegadeMaster07 He tells it like it is, and he's not even being inconsiderate to non-believers, the non-believers are being inconsiderate of him, God, and every christian that's ever been, or ever shall be.

  • @Futureboy2026 Dudepeople talking about God isn't gonna be easy to hear for a sorry if i offend you here a non believer like yourself. It's in my opinion that you don't want to accept it. I wasn't judging you and i'm not saying you said i was judging you i was just saying the way you said that comment was kind of wrong.

  • is he supposed to be a comedian or a pastor? >_>

  • @YoMammasSoFat He is a Christian Comedian.

  • @NuttyNelle I'm aware, but there's more preaching than jokes lol

  • BRAD U ROKKKKKK!!!!

  • What if, 2000 years ago, a group of like minded people saw a man doing good deeds and claimed he was their messiah, and this man liked the idea so much that he began proclaiming himself so? What if, when he died, grave robbers stole his body and his followers, so desperate for the prophecies to be fulfilled, saw a man who looked similar to him and claimed he had risen from the dead?

  • @Linkage1992 Then we wouldn't have Christianity. But that's not what happened.

  • @Linkage1992

    three things

    1) no normal man could have performed the miracles Jesus did

    2) the Hebrew religeous leaders, those who the people that Jesus ministered to looked up to, hated him for the good deeds that he did wihout there say so. they would not have supported him and the only way, at the time, to establish a clame of messiah-hood (?) that would be believed without the relegous leaders support was to prove it beyond all doubt

    3) (next comment)

  • @logicunit119

    3) the Bible records 5,000+ people in different parts of Isrial wo all saw Jesus post-resurection - at the same time. It is not logical to assume that 5000+ people ither hilucenated or say someone resembling there Lord close enough to trick them into believing he was resurected.

  • @logicunit119

    final thoughts...

why would some one deliberatly pretend to be someone that was hated by the religeous leaders so badly that they would hold an illegal trial with false witnesses just so they could murder him?

  • As for Jesus, people will believe anything. Just recently, there was a religious group who thought that Raj Patel (a writer and academic) was the messiah, because he apparently fulfilled a bunch of (very specific) prophecies. Raj himself dismissed these claims.

  • @Linkage1992

has anyone else raised himself from the dead? no. Every other profet, man of God or messiah has or will die and stay dead. Jesus is the exception. Jesus is the one way to heaven weather you want him to be or not.

  • Well, if you look at today, all the terrorists and suicide bombers of Islam call themselves "martyr's in the name of Allah" and nearly everyone thinks this is absolutely ridiculous and they have no basis for making this assumption. How do you know that the 'disciples' were somehow different? They could have been exactly the same, dying for something which they thought was true, but which in reality was extremely ridiculous!

  • @Linkage1992

the deciples may have died but they did not deliberatly take anyone with them. they also did not kill themselves but died, usually alone, at the hands of the government at the time. Mohamed is dead. Jesus Christ is not. who is truly God's chosen?

  • Brad Stine for president!

  • @southernboygonebad I second that motion.

  • @southernboygonebad

    I would vote for him

  • Everything in life is a choice, we go here we go there, we eat this we don't eat that. God design it that way. God alone knows what will give us fulfillment, joy and love, so, therefore if we want true happiness in life we will choose to go all the way with Jesus Christ and of course part of the benefit package is not going to hell. But even if there was no heaven or hell His way is still the best way to live our lives in peace, harmony and for healing. I am thankful that there is a heaven

  • @itsmewafford Nope, sorry, you cannot choose what you believe in. Yes you can choose to do actions like you say ("we go here we go there, we eat this we don't eat that") but you either believe something, that is, you are either convinced something is true or you are not. Ask yourself if you have the ability to suddenly and genuinely believe that you are not a human being but a bird. You can't. You can try all you want, but you will still know in your mind it isn't true.

  • @at4550 There's a big different between what we will our minds to do and being a bird. We cannot change who we are we can only change how we respond to outside influences or our environment. I can choose to be kind and polite to an elderly lady or I can choose to be rude and nasty to her, then steal her last dime that she has to live on. That simple decision of choice of being kind or being nasty is a Biblical principle, before we do any actions we have to believe it first

  • @itsmewafford You basically just restated my point. Like I said, you CAN choose to act a certain way (such as being kind and polite). But you CANNOT choose what you believe to be true. To some extent, you can control the evidence before you - for example, I can choose whether or not to read the Bible, but when I'm done reading, I am either convinced it is true or I am not. I cannot "choose" to change this belief on a whim any more than I can suddenly choose to believe the sun doesn't exist.

  • @at4550 I am not changing any truth for truth cannot be changed, for truth is truth. When you say i am either convinced it is true or i am not, you have just made a choice, a human decision to believe or not to believe. You have just restated my point as well, choosing to act a certain way is based on what we as a person believe to be right and true.

  • @at4550

minds can change.... and you can believe Christ because, not only are the stories in the Bible about Christ true, He IS truth, pure and simple.

  • @itsmewafford Likewise, a nonbeliever might go to church, read the Bible, but still just not be convinced that the tenets of Christianity are true. That is not a "choice" by any meaningful definition of the word. It's the way their mind works. But Christians like you and Brad Stine can continue rationalizing that they're actually "choosing" to go to a place of eternal torment they don't believe exists, if it makes you feel less guilty.

  • @at4550 choice

an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities : the choice between good and evil.

If a non-believer rejects the tenets of Christianity then the very definition of the word, he has made a choice, made his decision to accept God's free ticket out of hell. Whoever believes in him is not condemned but whoever does not believe stands condemned already John 3: 18. Everything we think and do is based on choices what to drink, eat, and our beliefs

  • @itsmewafford No, you do not choose what you believe in. If you think this is incorrect, ask yourself if you can suddenly decide right now to believe the sun does not exist. And I don't mean choose to SAY it does not exist or to formulate the thought "the sun does not exist," but to GENUINELY believe in your own mind that it does not exist. You know that you can't.

  • @at4550 We cannot ever change tangible objects of creation that we can see and feel. Our very mind is based on truth like 2 + 2 = 4 you cannot change this truth, you can choose not to believe it but the fact remains 2 + 2 = 4, but how we feel about it we can change we can either hate the fact that 2 + 2 =4 or we can choose to accept it, embrace it and live our life by it.

  • @itsmewafford Actually, I CANNOT choose to NOT believe 2 + 2 = 4, that is my point. You are not understanding the difference between belief and action. Yes, I choose whether to my life as if 2 + 2 = 4 or 2 + 2 = 5, but I do NOT choose which of those equations I believe to be true IN MY MIND. If belief is a choice, then why can't you just believe right now, for five seconds, that the sun does not exist? And I mean GENUINELY believe it. Please answer that.

  • @itsmewafford Just to be clear, I am not asking if you can choose to MAKE the sun not exist. Obviously we cannot change reality. I am only talking about whether in your own mind you can just decide to genuinely believe it does not exist given all the evidence in front of you.

  • @itsmewafford

it is God's way or the Highway to Hell in other words... true that!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @itsmewafford

You think you have free choice choosing from the 31 different flavours of baskin robbins? You are weak if you believe in an afterlife like Heaven and Hell. Heaven and Hell are the most ridiculous and damaging ideas to mankind. religious people do good because they don't want to go to hell? and HOPE for a heaven. truly pathetic.

  • @Moiez101

Don't be stupid. First off, your anger and antagonism don't do much to back your point, and secondly, Christianity isn't about avoiding hell and hoping for heaven. It's seeking the face of God, and having a relationship with Him. THe other two are just bonuses :-D

  • @MA55Confusion1

You can tell that i'm angry off youtube comments? You're def. wrong buddy. being angry is the first thing that defeats a person's argumentation.

btw, your description of Christianity is what people SHOULD be following..sadly, that isn't the case...Most religious people i know are the same, it's only few that whole-heartedly understand religion's message. but the fact of the matter is, as a christian, you are threatened by God that you will go to hell if you don't do right.

  • @Moiez101

I was going off the impression I got reading your response to itsmewafford. My apologies if I took it for more than it was meant to be.

And I agree, most of the religion of this country is missing the point, I see no reason for you and I to disagree there. You are right, by refusing God, there is the possibility that in doing so, one is... Choosing (not the right word)? hell, but that's not why I make the choice. I do it to see God's glory on this Earth, and to bring him glory.

  • If you're going to hell don't forget your helmet

  • Apart from that, I very strongly agree with Stine's assertion of free will.

  • There are certainly much better reasons for believing in Christianity than not going to hell! Hell is the negative, the Kingdom of God is the positive! You should become a Christian because you want in to the Kingdom of God, not just because you want out of Hell.

  • You should be a christian to be a fisher of men....

  • @djNerd42: YEEESSSS!!! i totally agree!

  • @djNerd42

you should be saved because our Creator made us so he could have a relationship with us. the whole meaning of our existence is a relationship with God that we, as a race in general, have ruined with our sins unnumbered and prevented the reforming of with our collective unbelief and arogance. Instead of turning to God for fulfillment, we turn to sex, drugs, possessions, and other unnumbered things Satan has place in this world for a cheep imitation of the joy of the Lord

  • TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS DEFENDING OUR BELIEFS: Way to go, you know, standing up for what you believe in, and what is, I believe to be true. But dont feel offended, or hurt if someone disagrees, we can tell them stuff that shows our God is the real deal, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not our job to convince them of Jesus. We just have to love em, tell em what we know, and let God do the rest. We're planting seeds, and that's what it's all about.

  • "put a helmit on!"

  • in those 66 books ther are NO real contradictions

  • as for spelling and formating errors, it is the internet, however, if you are serious about wanting your words to look prety, then type what you want to say up in Word befor hand and copy/past

  • another thing. the members of our society, and brad makes this point in another video "animal rights" i believe, that we most want to protect are the very menders of animal "society" that end up as food. the very young, ther very old, and the sick are the members of society humans most want to protect, and the/re the ones that are eaten in nature. you want to help animals - teach them to be nice to each other first.

  • if God does not exist then life has no meaning. if tyhe THEORY of evolution is correct and i am an animal then what is going to stop me from doing anything i want whenever i want. animals do.

  • @logicunit119 You're right that if we accept such a view, then "You and me baby, we ain't nothin but mammals so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel" is the only value system left. However, you don't gain anything by capitalizing the word THEORY. The word THEORY does not in any way imply a falsehood or devalue the macro evolution story in any way.

  • @djNerd42

i was trying to emphasis the fact that evolution is by no means proven fact. In fact, most of the proofs of evolution are circular logic. we "know" a rock is so old because of the fossils found in it. We "know" that a fossil is so old by how far down in the fossil record, or in other words, the rocks, it is. The fossil defins the rock and the rock defins the fossil. Tell me someone sees a problem with this logic.

  • Can't you guys just agree to disagree instead of starting long-winded arguments about who's right and who's an idiot? Everyone has the right to believe what they want to believe and be proud of it, but don't be so proud that you make an ass of yourself by saying "I'm right and you're wrong because ______." Arguments like that have been the cause of 95% of all of the wars in the entire history of the Earth. Try to get along with someone because of who they are, not what they believe.

    Thank you.

  • @GodofMagic17

I don't believe that anyone who doesn't have down syndrom is an idiot, I just know, not just believe but KNOW, they are wrong. Also, it is not about winning the argument, it is about winning souls. The Bible says that "But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned ... his blood will I require at the watchman's hand." those Christains who remain in the world are the watchmen. we are here to warn the people of the coming danger.

  • I'm not an atheist. I'm a free thinker. I think Christian's God exist, but I'd rather not follow the religion. =) that's my choice, and frankly, I'd live with it. Or rather, die with it.

  • see their is no religion involved, its a choice, choose the God who loves you, or ignor God. God wants your life to b devoted to to him. that may seen like a big price, but when the God of all creation loves you, and is on your side, you cant louse.

  • so,...you think I/Jahova exists, but you choose not to follow him? very interesting, could you explain that to me? do you just not like religion? not like following rules? do you think he's A god, but that there are others, and that he is not the main god? do you think he exists, but not as humans precieve him? i'm very curios to hear your view on this.

  • So what you're saying is that you believe in God, but you don't care? Don't you think that God might require some response?

  • @LNao

    watch this song.....

    When You're There- Acappella

i know that the backround imagery is over-dramatic but do your best to pay attention to the words please.

  • I like this guy right here. He's one of the few people who have their heads screwed on straight.

  • Also, your excessive use of quotation marks where they aren't appropriate is bizarre.

  • Melodies, setting aside the fact that you have absolutely no idea about what I have and have not read, it is not necessary to read the entire Bible cover to cover to understand that the assertion that a person "chooses" to go to hell when they don't even believe that such a place exists to begin with is objectively false. All of your condescending bullshit doesn't change that fact.

  • @at4550

not condescending. concerned. I am a sinner saved by grace and mercy but still a sinner.

  • "So what are you saying, that I should just believe in this God just so I don't go to hell?" .......... "Yea, pretty much." lol

  • @snowwhiteyen

Satan and his devels know God exists. Belief in God is not enough. You must accnoledge that you are a sinner, humble yourself befor God. You must let go of the "pride of life" and acknowledge that the only way to heaven is Jesus Christ. you must except his freely given gift of salvation and invite him into your heart.

  • @logicunit119 Don't worry, I am a true Christian. I was just quoting a part that I thought was funny. I agree with you completely. Sorry for the confusion

  • It's depressing to think that anybody would change their beliefs/lifestyle out of fear of going to hell. The whole idea is ridiculous. If God can do ANYTHING, why couldn't he have just wiped the devil out of existance? Doesn't he know what's going to happen afterwards?! Some people just don't think about these things! I admit this guy is funny, but you shouldn't just blindly agree because you get adrenaline from listening to him and the crowd reactions.

  • Most Christians were/are converted because they knew/know the judgement of God is coming (hell). It's depressing to see someone like Dryice not come to know God, but rather use reason and thought and ignorantly speak out of context

  • Your conclusion is in error, which is why you find "the whole idea ridiculous." If your understanding were correct, then yes it would not only be ridiculous but also rather insane. All of the questions you asked, have already been answered. Have you ever read the Bible? If so, then why did you ask the questions that you did?

  • Yes I have. I was a Christian and did read the Bible. I searched for the answers to questions that seem to contradict God's existance, but found none.

  • I take it your no longer a christian. then? And that it was due to an lack of answers to your questions, or your disbelief that it was truth? I too have read some scriptures that I felt were contradicting. But once I did some research, outside of the Bible( In the Hebrew, Greek, Torah), and through many more scriptures (cross referencing) I found it to actually validate the scriptures perfectly. I am now seeking to learn Hebrew, to have an even clearer understanding of the Bible. Sry bout typos

  • like what questions?

  • @DryIce2010

I am not blind. I have believed from both sides of the fence and you know what? God has never failed me. Man and mankinds devices have. Yes, God could wipe the Devel out of existence. It wouldn't take more than half a thought. However, the same God who created man created the devel and all the angles, including the fallen ones, before man thought his first thought. He gave the Angles the same choice. they could ither follow Him or not. those angles who disobeyed becaim sinners.cont

  • @DryIce2010

and sence God is perfect light he can not have any fellowship with sinful darkness.

Think about it though. He gave the angles one choice - He gave humans a liftime of chances to chose Him or Hell. The Devel has not been "wiped out of existence" because he is humanitie's other choice. If God had not given us choice the only relationship he could have with us was one of master with machine. it is choice that keeps us from being minless robots and, (cont...)

  • @DryIce2010

as society in general is begining to understand, it is impossible for a thinking, reasioning, self-aware, intelegent life form to have a meaningful relationship with a robot.

  • One more comment - I have nothing against religious ppl generally. I just think it's ridiculous when some Christians try to rationalize the concept of hell. I think they feel guilty believing that billions of good people including loved ones are going to be tortured forever. It makes them feel better to say "it's their choice." Sorry, it's not. They don't believe any choice exists to begin with! And they arrived at that conclusion using the brain your god gave them. Think about that.

  • Your comment is in error, because you assume that "Christians try to rationlize the concept of hell, I think they feel guilty believing that billions of good people.."

Stop....Christ said that "there is none that are good, for "all" have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This would include believers as well. This is why Christ was slain "before" the foundations of the world. This is not even the meat of the word, only the milk. In otherwords elementry (simple matters) .

  • @at4550

just because they don't believe there is a choice doesn't mean there isn't one. you are choosing every day to not believe. scientist once laughed at those who believed that bacteria existed. those who were ridiculed were right. one day all those who have laughed in God's face by denying his love and the possibility of choice will stair in terror at the Great White Throne of Judgement before they are cast into a devel's hell

  • @logicunit119 Like all other fundamentalists, you fail miserably to understand what a meaningful choice is. I've learned that it is pointless to try to debate my point with Christ-worshipping automatons like yourself, because you will always just reply with an empty, conclusory statement that doesn't actually address my argument. Keep not thinking. A mind is a terrific thing to waste.

  • @at4550 so what exactly is your argument? give me a thesis statement

  • @at4550

god gave them choice. they chose.

  • Comment removed

  • Also, believing in God just to be safe doesn't make sense. I can go to church, read the Bible, but either I sincerely believe it in my heart or I do not. You choose your ACTIONS. But at the end of the day, based on the evidence in front of you and your own sense of reason, you are either convinced of something or you are not. Nonbelievers cannot suddenly "choose" to believe just out of convenience, if in their minds they are still not convinced. It is absurd to believe they deserve to be in hell

  • You make these statements because you have not read the Bible, therefore you have no understanding of the very things in which you are speaking about. God says in his word that we have not chose Him, but He has chosen us. This is why we are not our own, for we have been bought with a price. Now the danger in telling you this, is that you will misinterpret it, because you have "no idea" what it means. Which will only leave you to "imagine" what you "think" it might mean.

  • @at4550

there own sin and there chioce regarding God's gift are what send them to hell.

  • If you're going to believe Christianity on blind faith, fine. If you're going to try to argue rationally for your belief, it's not going to work. For starters, the Gospels he is referring to were written decades after Jesus died, not by the actual disciples. And the numbers argument... Well, more people follow Islam than Christianity. Does that make Islam the one true religion? If any one religion with a concept of hell is true, then billions of people are destined for hell. That's God's plan?

  • Knowledge and truth you lack AT4550. The Bible is the most reliable piece of written antiquity. Nothing comes close. Nothing! Auto-bio of Alexander is loved and believed by many scholars and its 400 years after his death. Some books in the Bible are 15-30 years after. Start reading real history and truth, not some internet "I hate christianity" site.

    Truth will set you free.

  • Anyone that thinks the Bible to be full of lies and fairytales are either #1. A hater #2. Ignorant.

If you go to hell, you chose it.

    Truth > Reason

  • Man, if I actually believed that over 2/3 of the world including many people I know and love were going to hell simply because they are unconvinced by my belief system, I would be depressed and angry. Good thing your god defined whatever he does as good, so he can do any number of things a sensible person would regard as ridiculous, irrational, and/or downright evil. What if God exists but is lying to you about being all-good? How would you ever know?

  • @at4550 yea, it is kind of depressing, isn't it? but I still belive it's the truth. Sad, but true.

  • @at4550

send these "things a sensible person would regard as ridiculous, irrational, and/or downright evil." to me at zchrbat@gmail.com. this out to be good. they are going to hell because of there choice. if I have done my absolute best to give trhem forwarning then it is out of my hands. you have been warned. All those who care so much about you, a total stranger, have warned you time and time again. Judgment for your sin is comming. there is a way out. God has provided it for free.

  • @at4550

all you have to do is accept it, believe it, trust it and you will be saved from the judgment. choose you this day who you will trust. your limited understanding or God's infinite grace and mercy. it is your choice. I will pray for you.

  • @logicunit119 You will pray for me? I thought humans had free will. If you can ask God to change my mind, where is my free will? Just one of the many, many contradictions of your false faith. Have a great day.

  • @at4550

God can't change your mind but he can convict you. right now God is "striving" with you. In other words, he is debating with your heart and mind, begging you to acccept him so that he can save you from the pit of hell where you don't belong. Hell was made for the devel, but all who are not covered in Christ's righteousness will be punished for there sin there for alll eternity.

  • It's also funny how you say "Truth > Reason" but then make a poor attempt to USE reason by arguing that people "choose" hell, as well as a number of other rationalizations people like you typically make to justify your strange, often repellent beliefs. But then reason suddenly sucks when it's use to expose your religion's contradictions and absurdities. Can't have it both ways buddy.

  • No one says you'll go to hell cause you don't believe in our "Belief system". Not trusting Jesus sends you to hell. You're condemed already. John 3:18. I challenge....wait....I dare you AT4550 to disprove the Bible. You will fail. People have tried for years, but you can't stop Truth.

  • ok i say that it is hard to disprove the bible because it was well written and the holes were filled in.....couple questions tho....what about jesus as a kid or growing up..?? The Bible was originally multiple little books and gospels. They threw away many books when they put together the Bible, denying the validity of many stories about Jesus. Hmm so if it didn't sound good...uhh we'll just throw it away and say it never happened, everyone ok with that? ok good. look it up.

  • I don't know what Jesus did as a child....better question for you. Why does it matter? and...If you don't believe the writings of his Adulthood, you won't believe anything written on his childhood. Lots of Books were rejected because they were "False". It took years to put the Bible together, not 6 months. Resarch the Canon before you comment on it, or read the book "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. Better than that, actually read the Bible. You will be truly educated. :) Truth :)

  • Research the Canon of the Bible and the Bible itself. You have no idea what you're talking about Trab. The books left out were garbage, untrue, or just plain evil. Read them. No the words weren't just filled in later to fill holes. I dare you to read "The Case For Christ". I dare you actually do real research from real historians and scholars. You will get educated.

  • @Trab4911

Jesus's childhood was before his ministry on earth. We don't need to know about it. Also, while the final version of the Bible does exclude some of the "Gosples" that were written, if you look at the history of the excluded "Gosples" themselves you will find that they were not writen by eye witnesses but, rater, vareoue different groups of people who claimed to be christian but did not truly fallow Christ such as the gnostics. "look it up"

  • @missilemaker188 totally true man! The Bible is the most historically acturate doc. out there!

  • Just because the truth I speak doesn't line up with your "OPINION" doesn't mean it poor. Reason won't save you, truth will save you. Jesus (Truth) > Reason. Just because it doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.

  • If you don't believe in reason, then stop trying to make logical arguments! Don't you see the irony dude?

"Just because it doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense."

That's actually exactly what it means. Thanks for playing, have a nice life.

  • You can't see what that little phrase means. You don't understand God, so you just say it's not true, or it doesn't make sense. Just because you say that, doesn't make it true. Peroid. Jesus came to give life, life I have abundantly. I pray that you find it too. Thanks for playing the game of life :)

  • Irony is a person who doesn't believe in God, but is offended at every thought, voice, or book about him. Isn't it?

    ....
