  • My T4 has central heating powered by the bottled gas although it strikes me that turning the engine on is going to be cheaper as well as recharging the batteries a bit.

  • thing is that, we boght one of these and it burned down our caravan, i suggest you dont get these, they are of terrible build quality

  • Woo I have regular radiators.

  • is there resitrctions now on electrical hookups, i was told some thing like 4amps, is max weight on it, would that be drawing more than 4 amps.

  • @TedFnBuckle I suppose it depends on the campsite but we have had this radiator for a couple of years and we haven't had a problem at any campsite yet.

  • @Smallmotorhome ah brilliant, im only new to the camping thing myself and one thing i noticed after spending one night in front of my house is that it is cold to cold, so im thinking about heating and also came across this heater that works from desil in van its like a mini boiler and this one blows hot air around. Webasto top air is the device im buying but must wait for it to come from germany, why germany becaue they are so cheap to buy them there compaying to england ireland and so on. ty

  • @TedFnBuckle 4A is next to nothing - a computer is going to be pulling that much. Having said that this heater must be pulling a huge amount of power.

    I don't really know because we use it in a camper van and are on electric hook up but it has a thermostat so as soon as it reaches the desired temperature it turns off thereby saving electricity, hope that helps.
