@96infinitii30 only one chevy with a 350 vortec has beat me out of about two dozen. it was done right. plus stock 3.73 vs my 3.55 ratio and the fact it had smaller street tires and lowered does help. they were all mildly modded as well. base 350 is not impressive power wise. way older 350's and the vortecs are a lot better imo. could be wrong cause i dont drive them

Sounds good.Headers make it sound better than with the manifolds.Thats what I thought about my z28 after putting lt hookers on it with the same slp ss exhaust i had on it with the manifolds anyway.Nice looking truck.

She is a little beat up now on the outside and has gotten me out of several jams... engine still runs like a top after 14 years of hard work... great power and pretty good highway miles in overdrive. Just had to put on a new set of Michelin LTX M/S, last set gave me 90K miles... I will still invest in this truck because it is ultra reliable and still works.

I have a 97 Sierra with the same set up. Although its only a 262 V6, but still a lot louder and quicker (if not the same) than my friends new F150's and Ram 1500. After my exhaust and a few aftermarket performance parts I'm pushing out about 310HP. Very nice truck you have got there.

@TH3Pr0ductions 4.3 you have is a good motor. i had one in my 92 cheyenne 4x4 with the cat cut off and i put a cherrybomb on it had it stretched to a 3in. outlet and ran 3in. duals from it with 4in.tips and i installed a msd blaster coil in it with a k&n . it sounded like a 305 until the rpms would get high then it was a loud cackling little v6 monster. it would also spit fire you could see it at night.

@psykho15 mine is identical to his in the video. i average 16mpg but i can squeeze 17 or 18 out of it. gmc sierra 1500 4x4 5.7 (350) vortec. its stock except for the exhaust. true duals with dual cats and dual flowmaster super 40 delta flows. a good exhaust can help your mpg more than you may realize.

theyre like dogs but they don't bark!! lmao! actually they are like a "pre-muffler" that usually is right after the headers or manifolds. its part of the emissions system that converts the gas to less bad gas simply put. you usually need them to pass emissions.

people take them off to get better flow or to make the truck louder. hope this helped lol
