@StephenSuttieHouse When you open Ableton (I am using Version 8 as this is V7) you will see some round buttons to the top left of the screen . On Mouse Over the ones you need - should say File Browser 1 or 2 or 3 .. clicking on any of those ones enables Ableton to browse your hard drive - look for the MP3 and then click and drag into an Audio track.

Hi there i need some help! i have Ableton Suit 8, and every time when i open a new project the demo appears so i have to delete everything to set all to default, how can i open a new project with 0 modifications? HOWEVER having just say that i have a real true problem because as a default i have tracks on 120 BPM then when i put playing some audio or MIDI the hole track is not at 120 but with a ridiculous high speed ;/ besides that im only mixing at 20 because its equal to 120 any idea????????

I think you just pull it over to the original audio track. Then you can double click on that new audio, save it and/or export the new clip and save it into your preffered place on your hard drive

Make sure the initial preset is called up in the top window in the slice chooser box..

You can hit support on this as well if it is still showing "off"

Affordable LOL j/k no but seriously Live is slick...first things first Live is playable Live which makes it what it is a live sequencer and i found I can do more with my sets now than I ever imagined
