@NuggetBlubber I agree with you. I mean, sure Blackmore is gone. But where does Torque go from here? His family is still dead, the malefactors are still out there causing a ruckus, Blackmore maybe gone but how does that end Torque's suffering?
@LadyTorque maybe blackmore was controlling the malefactors he did say he sent a wave of them to ranse and i think the malefactors might be able to see torque creature for because i know atleast in the demo they get scared when i use insanity and in the book they say blackmore has a connection with them
@mantis1mike I know. Still, I don't see why Midway wouldn't consider a 3rd Suffering. Blackmore said himself: "These are the ties that bind us. You can't cut them, you can't burn them, you can't be rid of them. You just have to live with them, or die with them." Who's to say Blackmore wont try and resurface back in Torque's life? The way I see it, the only way Blackmore can be gone is if Torque dies. Same with the malefactors, I presume.

In my opinion I think these suffering games were made not just as a source of entertainment but also as a message to youths about the sickness of gang and prison coulture. It also shows the costs of killing people for money and pride cause it usually winds up costing not only your blood but of those you love as well.

Yo wtf?! I got this ending but without Carmen coming to you at the end. I tried to help everyone like I did in the first one (had good ending there) but still I was unable to rescue some. I just didnt know how to. Warden died on me, he stayed behind didn't know how to get him to come with me anymore, then I heard a shot and he was dead) Miles died right next to me, guess I (Torque) killed him supposedly. And soldier guy just burned, didnt know how to save him and there were monsters all over! :s
@HKA25 You couldnt do anything to help Miles when he died. Torque blacked out and killed him. And next to the soldier guy was a fire extinguisher, you could've shot that to save him from being burned alive. As for the Warden, I dont know. If I were you, I would've just referred to the last checkpoint where the Warden was following you and maybe you could've kept him alive thus earning some more good morality points.
could be more npcs ,that you can kill or save ,regenerate health to max when not hide ,some stealth killing ,like when escape from jail ,kill guard from the back,more moves to monster forms and some bonuses ,like Good form is with wings ,have better dodge,evil have stronger attacks ,neutral can gain mana (dont know how its called) when not in combat ,that is not too much ,just cant explain with less words,really good game,dont understand why i like it much,hope to see Suffering 3 with freeplay
graphic not best but for 2006 good ,even with my high requirments to games i like this game ,those transformations ,morality, so story 6/10 because not much different from 1 part, gameplay 6/10 because you cant find without weapons ,not much weapons ,to go in some places enemy need to destroy it (like fire monster need to burn some doors) some people had bugs with it ,aim system is bad,press down it aims up and vice versa,monster froms could be better ,much different from each other

Man, it completely got me by surprise. But after I played it, I realized no one actually reacted to what he said in ways that made it look like he was really there. No one actually spoke with him or agreed with what he said, they just spoke all by themselves with no reaction to him. Pretty tricky! I was like "O_O Oh My God!" XD
And then in the present which is really the first "The suffering" She and the Kids are dead and they all live hapily ever after. But i personally think this bad ending cant ever happen cuz Torque has to be himself in Abbot ya know?

the 1st suffering will .....ties that bind wont, u need an upgrade some direct X installed in ur xbox to play all xbox1 games.....i play the 1st suffering much more gore in it, this one has its moments, but the 1st one is easier to figure out ....and this one is shorter.

Someone tell me what's up. I finished the game and recieved the archive Blackmore. The ending showed Blackmore dying in a glowing manner but Carmen doesn't show up after. What ending is this?
Why would Torque return to Carnate? Infact I can't think of a reason for Torque to even be in part 3. Anyway, as for returning to carnate the only thing I can think of is starting the game out of your choice between Consuela or Ernesto, as they search for their daughters. Ernesto would start out in that small village where Torque and them separated and Consuela would start off at the harbor not too far from that village, however, Consuela can't enter the village because of that firewall.
However, I would like to know if Clem (the only other inmate known to have escaped) escaped peacefully. And I would also like to know what happened to Rance Truman (the guy that wrote those distasteful poems at the loading screen, and you actually get to meet him near the end of Ties That Bind) And...Horace's soul I think is put to rest...Hermes...I don't know. So yeah...that's about all I can think of at the moment
He looks kinda Irish, but he's diffinetly not a black guy. Its one of the best games I've ever played. I'm a retro gamer, and I usually don't play next gen games (anything above 1996 is next gen). It reminded me of Resident Evil
It has a Silent Hill/Resident Evil feel to it, doesn't it? The reason I love the Suffering games so much is because they go above and beyond scary and venture into the untouched realm of fucked. The things they base these creatures on; junkies, murderers, those being murdered, those dying in fires, etc, all the hidden stories...the fact that you have the choice to kill a baby or not at one point...you don't get much more insane and original than these things.
Its crazy how some of the creatures are based on the way they must hve died. Like some of the villians must have overdosed on herion, your always collecting medication for life, some bad guys where gassed to death so there made of smoke. Some bad guys got the electric chair so they where electric, the guys who where shot to death have guns on their back an where blindfoled ala being shot while tied up and blindfolded. Its a very sick game, I loved it.
It wasn't very well sold, which definitely made me pretty angry. Action horrors don't sell like they used to. They need to make more and mass-advertise it.

starting with the save game morality...if you killed one of the two, then...well I guess if you got the evil ending then that's the end of Torque. But if you got the neutral ending then basically Blackmore still exists...so I guess the only one that could still go far is the good morality. and hopefully you get something bonus with the previous save file. But since we now have the Playstation 3, who knows if the next Suffering Installment will still be on ps2. But still, I hope the Creeper retrn
In order to see Carmen hug Torque you have to start out on good morality at the beginning of ties that bind and stay on the good path. Thats how you get the extended good ending. Same with evil too. In order to get that ending where you see Jordan and Blackmore together you have to start out evil on ties that bind and stay evil to the end. Based on what ending you got on the first suffering depends on how you start out. Hope that helps.
Yeah but if you skipped the first you need to finish Ties that Bind one time first and then when you play it again you get to choose which morality you want to start out with.
A good way to win is to kill the monsters until you get slayers. Then don't kill the captain slayer and let the slayers spwan to build up your insanity meter and the aim for blackmore only. Try your catalyism(sp) attack as well.
yep! blackmore is the alter personality of torque...he takes over torque and bad things happen. So yeah Torque killed his family but it was Blackmore who took control. That's why he claimed he blacked out when the killing went on because it was blackmore who was in control
It's messed up, 'cause after I get up the stair and get near Blackmore, the ending movie starts and then after he disappears, and like 4 seconds pass (second 20 in this movie) I receive a text of somesort that goes away too fast to read and then the game shows me ending credits... no movie... wtf? O.o
You can only hurt Blackmore if you´re in Monster Mode. Don´t waste ammo on the special enemies, instead just kill the nomal ones to charge your insanity. Blackmore will usually run away when you change you´ll have to him and attack him with the R2 button.

He looks kinda Irish, but he's diffinetly not a black guy. Its one of the best games I've ever played. I'm a retro gamer, and I usually don't play next gen games (anything above 1996 is next gen). It reminded me of Resident Evil

It has a Silent Hill/Resident Evil feel to it, doesn't it? The reason I love the Suffering games so much is because they go above and beyond scary and venture into the untouched realm of fucked. The things they base these creatures on; junkies, murderers, those being murdered, those dying in fires, etc, all the hidden stories...the fact that you have the choice to kill a baby or not at one point...you don't get much more insane and original than these things.

Its crazy how some of the creatures are based on the way they must hve died. Like some of the villians must have overdosed on herion, your always collecting medication for life, some bad guys where gassed to death so there made of smoke. Some bad guys got the electric chair so they where electric, the guys who where shot to death have guns on their back an where blindfoled ala being shot while tied up and blindfolded. Its a very sick game, I loved it.

It wasn't very well sold, which definitely made me pretty angry. Action horrors don't sell like they used to. They need to make more and mass-advertise it.

Hey Sidhawk, what are some of your fav games? I like most SNES Classics, most Sega Genises Classics, Metal Gear Solid, Suffering, an Resident Evil. I only play Halo when I have friends over. I hate RPG's, an Super Mario 3 is the greatest game of all time.

I love the Suffering series, the Half Life series, I can't stand Halo unless it's with friends, I LOVE MGS, Resident Evil, Oddworld, the GTA series is always fun, and Silent Hill.

lol well in the first one he had a hardcore beak-nose, which is pretty much a typically european feature, and in true die-hard fashion had a myriad of black sidekicks, so i just assumed he was Mclane incarnate...but wtf is with all black family? Maybe he just has insanely recessive genes and his kids look nothing like him? or his wife cheated. baaaaaah confusing!!!

I say he's white, but you see, The creators of this game didn't want him to be of any "particular" race (such as, Irish, Italian...etc.) so they made him just "Neanderthal" kind of look. So since he's white, most people don't care what heritage white people originate from...And no, don't take this as racism

starting with the save game morality...if you killed one of the two, then...well I guess if you got the evil ending then that's the end of Torque. But if you got the neutral ending then basically Blackmore still exists...so I guess the only one that could still go far is the good morality. and hopefully you get something bonus with the previous save file. But since we now have the Playstation 3, who knows if the next Suffering Installment will still be on ps2. But still, I hope the Creeper retrn

In order to see Carmen hug Torque you have to start out on good morality at the beginning of ties that bind and stay on the good path. Thats how you get the extended good ending. Same with evil too. In order to get that ending where you see Jordan and Blackmore together you have to start out evil on ties that bind and stay evil to the end. Based on what ending you got on the first suffering depends on how you start out. Hope that helps.

Yeah but if you skipped the first you need to finish Ties that Bind one time first and then when you play it again you get to choose which morality you want to start out with.

A good way to win is to kill the monsters until you get slayers. Then don't kill the captain slayer and let the slayers spwan to build up your insanity meter and the aim for blackmore only. Try your catalyism(sp) attack as well.

yep! blackmore is the alter personality of torque...he takes over torque and bad things happen. So yeah Torque killed his family but it was Blackmore who took control. That's why he claimed he blacked out when the killing went on because it was blackmore who was in control

It's messed up, 'cause after I get up the stair and get near Blackmore, the ending movie starts and then after he disappears, and like 4 seconds pass (second 20 in this movie) I receive a text of somesort that goes away too fast to read and then the game shows me ending credits... no movie... wtf? O.o

You can only hurt Blackmore if you´re in Monster Mode. Don´t waste ammo on the special enemies, instead just kill the nomal ones to charge your insanity. Blackmore will usually run away when you change you´ll have to him and attack him with the R2 button.
