I don't know where you're from, but as an Australian, I have to say that's one of the better accent impersonations I've heard an American do. Probably because it's before Steve Irwin's big splash in US culture. :p

It's refreshing to not hear "CRIKEY!" and "SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE!" used just coz'.

I'm from London, I just listened to it again and it still sounded awful to me, but that could be because I've only known about four Australians (all of whom had pretty strong accents). I'm aware that the place is quite big (deadpan british irony by the way) so I'll take your word for it that Ryan's accent is authentic.

I'm sure those typical "Australian phrases" are just as annoying as the bizzare things Americans think we say!
