As it happens, this version of Ariel/Arcee is in the fiction for the new Alternity toyline, as a synthoid called Elita Seven.

Ironically, she rides a bike which looks like her old alt mode, but in colours more like the 2007 movie's Elita-1 figure.

Probably one of the most annoying about the Unicron Triogy is that all of the characters yell "Transform!" when switching modes.

Yes, and the Horrible quality of, and way too much usage of Cgi in energon and the one after that, i got up to episode 8 and couldnt watch anymore. And thats the problem i had with the first one, the drawing quality of the humans etc was pretty poor in armada, they fixed that in energon, but screwed everything else up!

That line should have been used twice in Armada alone. When Megatron first demonstrates the ability the transform he says "Transform! Vehicle Mode!". The second time it should have been used is at he end when Optimus yells "Transform!" and flies off into space.

One of the reasons names are recycled is cos coming up with new ones all the time would be never-ending legal tape and checking usage and ownership (non-trivial). They have to keep using a name they own in order to legally retain the rights (eg: Shockwave became Shockblast). In order to accept the re-use of a name, the fandom expects/demands certain things. eg: Optimus Prime is expected to be a truck and have a window-styled chest. What if Arcee was a male, green tank? Is that better, or worse?

So, everything should still be set in the G1 universe? That's unbelievably limiting. Character-wise (see above), powers, technology, planets/inhabitants, even things like humans knowing about them. There would be so few opportunities to do something interesting & different; they'd be limited by what is known of the G1 universe. And I think the fans would get bored. Optimus Prime's 10th body, after his 4th death & 6th upgrade; it sounds like a soap opera that should have been cancelled years ago.
