  • i like how homer sings it better is this the original

  • he did the voice of mikey's singing voice from recess

  • @89Animeknight2nd

    That's how I got here.

  • really Smileybiotch237?

  • @89Animeknight2nd

Yup. I remembered Recess and remembered that great voice Mikey had in that great episode "The Voice" and wondered if there was a mp3 of the song he sung in the episode. Sadly there wasn't. But at least I discovered Robert Goulet. :)

  • it took me 10 years to wonder who did the voice Smileybiotch237

  • The brilliance of Robert Goulet and Camelot brought me here.

  • Homer simpson brought me here

  • i first heard on FamilyGuy Brian sings it.

  • Perfection!

  • Hey guys I did a piano cover of this song posted in the video responses. Please let me know what you think if you can check it out. Thanks :)

  • He's my cousin.

  • Actually Will Ferrel brought me here.

    nobody??...ok...

  • IO ad esempio...e che casino trovarla!!!

  • Amazing voice!

  • Actually, Family Guy brought me here.

  • homer in "homer in seville " und german "homerati"

  • Ron Swanson?

  • God. That moustahce is perfection.

  • It's not Nero singing, he's lip sinking someone else but the emotion and the greatest love song of all is intense. Glad you enjoyed. However, Robert Goulet is awesome and powerful. He was in the Broadway version of "Camelot". :)

  • Excellent song! ;) Mikey from Recess' singing voice is based on Roberts

  • @flamingo365 Actually... it IS Robert's!

  • @Atheneastro damn you must be bored as fuck! I commented on here 5 months ago, stop browsing comments

  • @flamingo365 Holy damn, why didn't I come to this video five months ago?

  • @Atheneastro god knows

  • Man can Robert Goulet sing.....I'm a strong straight guy..and he makes my skin shiver...this is unbelievable....

I agree. Did you hear Franco Nero sing it in the movie. It's great! You'll cry for sure. I can bet you will. :)

  • @laura030857 ..just heard him...trully amazing...but i stick with robert

  • This song is Robert Goulet's Signature Song. No one else can sing that song and

make you feel good all over like he does. No one else has a voice and personality

as he had and never will. We lost a great humanatarian when he left this earth.

God Bless him and may he rest in peace!

  • SIMPSONS :3

  • the simpsons brought me here

  • This beautiful song is from Camelot.

  • Much better than Nathan Gunn. It's not because his voice is better, it's just that the crooner style fits this song so much better than opera. I love it. Using it for an audition tomorrow. Wish me luck :)

  • how many people looked this up after watching Homer sing this song?

  • @sameerbio Brian on Family Guy

  • This song gives me the chills. :3

  • Robert Goulet has been sorely missed by his fans.

  • I feel uneducated I first heard about Robert Goulet off the Will Ferrell Skit

  • The great Robert Goulet. I'm glad I was able to see him in concert once.

  • Wow, what a voice! Mr. Goulet was most definitely one of a kind, and now he is singing with the angels. He will be missed!

  • homer simpsons sing that song when he was in hospital !

  • Robert Goulet was my favorite. I remember when my dad said to me. "Honey, your favorite singer died today." I did not know who it was and said, "Dad you man Robert Goulet." My dad was also a big fan of Robert Goulet. He said, "No it is Elvis."

Elvis was one of my favorites, but Mr. Goulet took the prize in my opinion.

    Gee, I miss Robert Goulet.

    Iris Rosenberg-Cooper

  • @luckysmusic or simpsons. homer sang it when he had his opera voice.

  • @luckysmusic Actually Robert did the stage version; Franco Nero was the actor chosen to play Lancelot in the film. I wish Robert Goulet had done the film also, and I wish I had a dollar for every time I have heard that beautiful song. I believe everyone under the sun has done it. Did Sinatra do it? He would be good, but i'll take Robert.

  • @didou2345 Camelot.

  • He looks and sings for me like my father in my dreams........

  • If you like this, try "If Ever I Would Leave You-Camelot-Broadhollow"

  • Mr. Goulet was the biggest influence in my singing career. My only regret was that i never got to see him live. His voice will live with me forever. God bless. Roger Green UK

  • Oh MY God, this is just beautiful. Gives me teary eyes and brings back memories of days left behind. Remember Camelot, so it was said. Goulet's version is the best of the bests.

  • im related to him. he is my grandmothers cousin... no lie ..... :D

  • miss bob, he had a great voice. look up my youtube video, i do a pretty good job on this song. click on "guy singing robert goulet tune". (one of 11 videos)

  • Still had a very beautiful voice...

    .

  • 1967 Camelot movie theme

  • great music!

  • I just discovered this man not even a half an hour ago.

Man! I am so moved by his performance!!

  • Wait, was he a bass, baritone or tenor?

  • @theblacknemesis Goulet was a baritone, one of the richest voices ever!

  • @raoul5788 Now you're getting my hopes up! (I'm a baritone)

  • Goulet!

  • Some songs are so closely identified with a certain artist that it is simply theirs. No one else even needs to try to sing it. That is how I feel about this song and this singer. He owns this song. You sing it Robert!!!

  • Wonderful!

  • One of the songs from the Broadway productions of Camelot (1960). Robert Goulet's version was recorded in 1967. This I have considered at the best version.... Remembering my first year in college.

  • ...considered as the best version.....(Correction)

  • Goulet could sing the hell out of this song! I wish someone would upload him singing, "What are you doing the rest of your life".

  • The Best Singer EVER!!!!

  • I wouldn't go that far

  • He was better than Gene Merlino.

  • homer sang this in a simpsons episode and it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.

  • i just found out you are my distant cousin......my grandma just found her real family.

  • why cant todays spot light performers do this? being able to put an awesome authentic show without wearing tight or revealing outfits or having to dance and lipsinc at the same time? why must our generation be a fiend to sexism or just gimmicky trendy crap! for shame!

  • I found this song, watching the "Homeroti" Folge of The Simpsons...

And i have to say this song is so beatifull oh man.. i would do everything to be able to sing like he does...

*No, never could I leeeeave youuuuuuu aaat aaall! * <3

  • yea he sings even better than Homer.

  • im 13 and i love this :)

  • Class, pure class...no one can best this Lancelot....<3 Dearly missed...

  • I was saddened by his passing. Not only was he a pleasure to hear he was also astonishingly handsome.

    He will be terribly missed.A

    RIP Robert.

  • He was a great one indeed. To me, Impossible Dream was his all time best song.

  • i need this song on spanishh D:

  • I am going to win my high school crush (at 43 or 44 ) with this song.. because that is the way I roll.

  • That's why I come up here... NAAATUUURE!!

  • GOULET !!

  • That voice, those eyes, takes me to another time when music was full of love.

    No one can replace him.

  • Some music is still "full of love". You just have to look for it.

  • Simply beautiful music. I went to the St. Louis Muny for the closing show this Sunday...excellent, I just had to come on the net and hear the songs again. Classical songs. I not yet 50 but I love musicals and classics. Simply excellent singing!

  • sorry guys its me again ive just realized Robert died on my mothers birthday she died in 1989 but watching all this stuff brings back so many memories....

  • Im from England and I can see my mother now look skywards at the very mention of Robert Goulets name. She so liked this guy and boy can I see why. Im so sorry hes gone, but thank God for YouTube and all who contribute......

  • I was lucky enough to see him perform live. One show was just him singing with an orchestra -- marvelous -- and the other, he played Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha and sang the beautiful love song "Dulcinea" -- he had a beautiful voice and the power never faded as he grew older. Suoerbly talented and funny and kind man and extremely handsome.

  • He was the Ultimate Meat Beast! Go Robert!

  • wow did that guy ever still have a voice! Thanks for posting!

  • No one sings this song likes him! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • When i think of Robert, I think of this song. He is the gold standard for this song, one for the ages. I miss this great, great talent.

  • what do you mean you miss it?

  • I love this beautiful song. Robert Goulet has one of the most beautiful and gracious voices. Camelot remains one of the great movies. This remains one of the most romantic songs of our time.

  • GOUUULLLEEEEEEEEETTTTT

  • this is the cheese

  • WOW

this is a very good performance

  • This one is very special to me. Thank you

  • Goulet was the friggin man

  • Awesome song.

  • lol i like his mustash

  • I miss that marvelous voice Robert Goulet. He was simply wonderful.

    RIP dear friend.

  • @whizkid7562 he was never your friend, so why say he was? i don't care if it was a figure of speech, it just isn't right...

but besides that i agree with you

  • Vera said that?

  • ROBERT GOULLLETTTTT!!!

  • I admit that the singer to whom you refer really does a good job on this song, but for me, Roberts baritone is more pleasing

and since you can see him singing and emoting, it just adds to the performance......

  • This song is beautiful, love the play, love the song, love robert goulet.

    RIP

  • Great singer........great song !

  • When he sang with Judy Garland....HEAVEN!!!! they would have made a magnificent couple :)
