Ohhh, I've seen this picture a few times as I wanted to replicate the hairdo, it seems like a herringbone braid from afar. What I like about her updo however is the back more than the front as it's a good strategy for people with layered hair. I'll try wearing this to see how it goes.
@lushbylaura i think it actually is a herringbone (fishtail braid)! if you want you can do that instead. I have a few fishtail tutorials if you need them :)
I just got hairpins and I noticed you used them in this video. So, I started to try them out and as soon as I put one in, I didn't notice how flimsy they were.;-( I wanted to ask you: Is that how they are supposed to be? or Is my hair too thick? Thanks for the help!
@thecreativesisters no they should not be like that. I get extra sturdy ones from claire's boutique here in germany. see if you can find sturdier ones online etc xo
@BerlinHairBaby Thanks for getting back to me! I really appreciate it:-) I will try and find some and let you know if I have any other questions as well. Thanks a lot;-D
For the twist braid if you twist the two sections in the same direction and then twist them together in the opposite direction the twist will hold perfectly.
hola me encanto tu peinado la trenza me da trabajo por favor podrias explicarla mas despacio. y me ayudas con la trenza espina de pescado y combinarla con un lindo recogido. te felicito gracias. diana
in Germany you can get the clear elastic bands at "Müller" :-)
- Mädels, ich habe die klaren Haargummis gestern im Müller gefunden (von YES basics) - eine Packung beinhaltet 100 Stück und kostet 2,29EUR (in Dresden)
- es gibt sie auch in anderen Farben (z.B. braun)
Does your H&M get stuff before mine does?!!? I swear after I see you, I go and its NOT THERE! Then like weeks.. maybe even a month later.. it is!! what the hell?? im not that far from you!
You can also twist the two strands in the same direction and twist them together in the opposite direction - thats the way i do it and it holds the whole day and also over night without any extra elastic just one at the end!! Give it a try it works!
Hey,ich mag deine videos sooo gerne, aber leider betonen diese immer meine großen ohren, konntest du vielleicht auch mal ein Tutorial machen, welches über die ohren geht?? Ware echt toll!!!
you were wondering where to get the clear elastic bands in germany? usually if you used to have braces you have those. you can also buy them in orthodontic offices, they are very inexpensive and come in packs of at least a hundret. love the videos btw, cuz i have never any idea what to do with my hair and you always show hairdos that are manageable even for someone as untalented as me :)
Thank you for making these videos. Absolutely love your tips and tricks, since I have waistlong blonde hair and prefer my hair braided or put up instead of wearing it down I really appreciate it. I live in the tropics of australia and it is just way to warm to wear it down in summer, so anything that can make my hair look good as well as staying cool.
Only early spring and already 26C, missing my cold swedish weather.;-)
@swedishlina thanks lina, would love to see photos of your completed looks to show my viewers with very long hair some ideas. no pressure though! thanks, bhb
this is one of my favourite looks you've done! so so cute, i can't wait to try it out on my hair but i'll have to try and find some clear elastics first!
beauthiful,as usual. I think the little trouble shooting part at the end is a good addition to your videos, especially for people who freak out ALL the time (like me) I think it would save you time to responding to people.
Interesting fact about me and The Shining. I never read the book (not my cup o' tea) and I stayed away from the movie for most of my life because the clip of the twins in the hallway scared the bejesus out of me as a kid. Finally, last year, I watched it...thinking it couldnt possible ruffle my 34 year old mother of three self. I was wrong. I buried my head under the covers for at least a week afterwards and had serious trouble sleeping! So Scared! LOL
@LisaFreemontStreet some how the "all work and no play.." scene is the most psychologically terrifying thing I've ever scene. Now you've given me second thoughts...! :-) :-0

Bei Basler Haarkosmetik gibt es 250 Stück für 2,95€! :)
Einfach mal nachgucken. Daumen hoch, damit alle es lesen können!
