  • How do you those things are not there in golden temple, vellore. you are showing inner bias!

  • Money cannot buy Bani and hence the new place can attract tourists but not devotees.

History, culture and devotion cannot be created by money.

Sikh Golden temple is not great that it is made of Gold, it is great because of its atmosphere, you can feel sikhi there, our Gurus our shaheeds and this is what makes Golden temple great.

Sikh Golden temple is not just the “show of” of Sikh wealth it’s a representation of communal brotherhood

  • Just for knowledge sake all these Gold used building temples around Great India is none bt those donated by the nearby residnt of the locality.... Gold is of no use to them just like Diamond is of no use to the enlighten Buddha... all they interstd is going back hme, back to Godhead.. TRue Hindus wanna live again the Ram Rajya... DATS Y THEY FORSAKES EVERYTHING N LIVES A SIMPLE LIFE. Hindus r the only 1 living wid their true God.Maha Vishnu. evryones else hav to wait after death 2 meet God

  • I like this temple, and the sense of unity in these comments. Good job. I have a question if anyone is reading - there is so much gold on the temple. At the same time, there is so much poverty in the same district. Instead of putting it all on a temple, would this richness be helpful if it were used to create businesses or build dams? I hope no on takes this the wrong way, just want to get an opinion. Dams and businesses are modern day temples I heard somewhere - comments?

  • building dams, creating jobs n businesses etc, are works of the Government ( politicians) not the work of a religious leader. When religious insituitions take over the role of the govt, the govt/politician becums more corrupt and useless. I hope u follow the logic

  • @TanjongTiram Brother, thanks for discussing this with me, but thing is what I meant is that we should take an active role in pursuing the bigger goals for India and its citizens. If you go to the western world, you can put all the gold and precious stones in the entire Europe or america, and still the gold will be less that the 8 ton gold that is used here. Why? because churches spend most of their money not on the church itself, but on the *people* that form the church...think about it..

  • true, too much ostentatiousness is ok in a land of plenty...like India was in the Olden days. But its not acceptable today. It also distracts the worshipper, so what's the use.

  • @andrer2006 I also wondered this but if you go in and out the temple you will see signs giving wisdom from the Qur'an, Bible, Bhagavad Gita and more. His goal was to give out wisdom and make humaity purer by using the golden temple. He wants these sign ti inspire people and then hopes they will themselves help poverty and give donations for poverty. I think its amazing.

  • Large scale dams are highly destructive and in practice have only helped big business and not the people directly affected by them.

  • @kumarsa108 brother, that is the information you get from the propoganda machinery of both friendly/enemy countries of India to keep India in constant need of water. I am surprised to see that even educated people in India continue to believe this story line and do not take a research oriented look at this. Water is one of the most important ingredients that can keep a country self sufficient. Multiproject dams built in every part of India altered the landscape for the better everytime.

  • nice!

  • Ya it's good video.only once i went their every one should go their

  • I have been thrice with friends and family I am sad what is the use or porpose of going there like goats we remain the same narayani ammas golden business is excellent not many are like her/him.

  • Yep, been there, seen that...

  • Oh i can surely say that im proud to be a indian if everyone is really unity - i dont really appreciate the faking unity. our nearby state itself is not giving us water to drink we didnt ask gold or money jst basic human necessity water u can understand the rest sorry if im wrong

  • it is not just water my man... there are other things that developed ego and hatred between the states .. tamil always say they r best , punjabis say only they are Indians, etc etc .. first of all people needs to understand the urgency of oneness, if not .. no one can help it.. if water is really a scarcity, they ll definately share their water.. our people are not that bad..

  • WOW IM PROUD TO BE A TAMILIAN

  • Pls say that you are proud to be an Indian.

  • pls say ur proud to get a human birth from the 18400000 species.

  • @indianrailways IM VERY PROUD TO BE , I ACTUALLY THANK GOD EVERY TIME I WAKE UP THAT IM NOT AN HINDU . those who cant take care of themselves , how will they care of their ppl

  • @blaugranelona Death will not ask your religion, caste or educational qualifications Sir. Thanks

  • A bit of gold to honour the Divine is not a bad thing. The gold comes from God anyway!
