IT SURE WAS TRIPPY AT THE END, *whoops, on caps lock :P* but the voice sound a bit more like cookie monster. Fozzie bear sounds a bit more high pitched and a bit nasally. either way good footage of vintage sesame street season 1.
Wow, I never saw this...Grover looks like a burn victim and Frank Oz is using too much of his death metal growl...really interesting to see this show in development.
The Grover prototype sounds more like Cookie Monster than Fozzie. Either way, it's not really all that jarring to me since it's still Frank Oz, who was the primary performer for all three characters.
Grover looks like he was originally conceived as a sort of rough street character, but they softened him up a bit soon after and made him more silly and flaky. But damn, those eyes look pretty mean in this version.

Wow, that early Grover is pretty amusing to watch! The ending with Fred the Dragon was also pretty creepy

@Mikayla13able Calm down, big boy. No need to start crying over something this small.

Interesting how many of the beloved Sesame Street Muppet characters have started out as just random characters not yet fleshed out.

You must not know what Fozzie sounds like, because this version of Grover sounds like Cookie Monster, not Fozzie.

@MuppetVoicesAndMore Its Frank Oz who did it and corrected his voice later.
