Update on the Burj Dubai

Dude the CN tower is 553m (1,815ft) tall. It is the tallest building in North America.

Not sure if the CNN Tower would qualify as a "building" in the sense that a skyscraper is. I think the CNN Tower and that other tower or space needle in Kuala Lumpur (not the twin Petranous Towers) would qualify more as "structures" and not buildings.

Yeah the Burj Dubai didn't keep the height secret as originally planned because the plans were for a building topping 800 meters and many people knew that already.

but the spire on dubai is expendable thats the trick they are holding up , I bet they'll say at the opening that we wont tell you the height cuz we can make it higher at any time

they can actually build a mast atop the structure , if you just notice the fact that a little mast is already there
