Professional actors always do that, they have such amazing control over their emotions that they can convince themselves to feel in a certain way in reality, so they don't even need to act that much, they just build up a certain feeling inside them and go from there. ^_^

You know where they got the inspiration from this scene? Final Fantasy VII. Tidus and Yuna are standing at first, then they are floating around in an ocean. How are they standing on nothing? It's just like Cloud dropping Aeris in that very deep pool. Squaresoft was definitely trying to fuck with your mind here by bringing up past confusion. At least Tidus and Yuna remembered to bring their underwater materia.

I think its so if you call him your name, then you'll feel a deeper connection with him and more into the story - since everything in Spira is new to him as well - the player and Tidus both feel alone and like Spira is alien to them.

Also maybe for sympathy pruposes - no character in the game knows Tidus's name. Did you notice that? No character knows the name of the man who saved the world from the cycle of death. Which is sad.

auron has fulfilled his promises, so he rests in peace. The aeons die in order for Yu Yevon to not have any body to possess. Because the Faith are no longer dreaming and all aeons are dead, Tidus disappears. Yuna crys for him because she loves him and then there was a 2 minute speech after wards which ended it very well. That was a VERY good ending. I dont think I wudve liked it to end any other way.

This scene was a strong one in the game. It blew me away the first time I saw it. I had to turn off the game, and watch it again and again. Thank you so much for posting this video. Now maybe I can get past that scene.. =p
