I go to a rave in Denver called Global and there is very minimal problems that arise from drugs and or overcrowding and it still brings in 10,000 people a day... its all about promotion and how the event is run. (Amount of Security and Paramedics on hand to deal with problems) sometimes people party too hard and that happens EVERYWHERE! How it is handled makes all of the difference.

Ex-raver here. A lot of people do take their drugs at home or on the way to a party or in line if the line is too long of a wait. The problems are if people don't feel it kick in, then they take more and more. Or they feel so good, they think they can handle more. They want to feel even better that what they are feeling at the time. But between all the dancing, not resting, drinking too much water or not enough and maybe not eating, the body starts to give out. :(

Obviously, there are exceptions, there are some people who are more responsible at that age. Ex-raver here. A lot of people do take their drugs at home or on the way to a party or in line if the line is too long of a wait. The problems are if people don't feel it kick in, then they take more and more. Or they feel so good, they think they can handle more. They want to feel even better that what they are feeling at the time. But between all the dancing, not resting, drinking too much water or not enough and maybe not eating, the body starts to give out. :(

Look on the bright side, her death lead to an increase in the minimum age for the even and likely prevented other teens from making the same mistake. The event lives on, and moved to a bigger more appropriate event.

So from what i understand, the girl who died rolled the night before, didnt sleep, didnt drink any water, rolled again @ EDC, didnt do anything to chill out, ect..., its no wonder she died. im not saying its not a big deal, but its no surprise she did die when she took care of herself the way she did there. it's well known that education about these drugs is lacking, and most law enforcement agencies are focusing now on harm reduction efforts as a result, after lobbying from the community
