It is not true that children who are spanked are more violent. Back in the good ole' days children were spanked and we did not have nearly the amount of crap we have today. Not every child is going to learn their lesson from "negotiating" as we now see. There is a difference between abuse and discipline. Not disciplining the child should be described as neglect. There are too many people going around saying "my child is a free spirit" and they rob a liquor store. smh.
I agree with sara completely, parents do try to think of it as "spanking" which doesn't sound as severe as hitting. She brought up a great point, if your spouse accidentally caught the house on fire would you hit them? Spanking your child is just lazy parenting plain and simple.
And maybe if sharon wouldve beat her kids as opposed to letting ozzy beat her in front of them, allowing them to do cocaine, allowing them to be druggies and FINANCING all of this i would listen to her. This thing was BLOWN WAYYY OUT OF PROPORTION, and for a child with cerebal palsy explain why shes a piano prodigy and knew her way around her mercedes that her dad purchased for her. I just can't get on board with the new cast/hosts of the talk! I miss leah and holly so much, I feel like the show is totally different without them! Now when I watch the show or catch up on YouTube thats all I think about. I think that the show decreased in quality when they left =[ THIS IS MY OPINION, sorry if I offend anyone,
