I really enjoyed this game, as I did enjoy TR1 years ago. But I think you can't compare them. Sometimes there are moments, in which you can remembver the old setting, but most of thwe time you'll have the feeling that you play a new game. But if you liked Legend and TR1 you will love this game, I'm sure

It's a remake of the original first game to playstation 1... But they have totally redefined it with a deeper more detailed story, caracters and areas. It's actually more of a homage than just a remake with better graphics :)

Yes. Since Tomb Raider Anniversary came out after TR: Legend, it uses an updated version of the TE: Legend game engine. I am pretty happy with that, because I did not get into Tomb Raider until Legend. Loved the game and got Anniversary. So it is nice that the game has the same feel as Legend.
