Sylvan Lake Council passed laws that infringe on rights causing a lot of people to opt to leave Sylvan Lake. Bathrooms at the lake close at 9:00 p.m making nightly walks a bit uncomfortable. Boats are not allowed to be parked in the driveway. Swearing at night when kids are not present is illegal in Sylvan Lake. Meaning even if you are joking an officer can devastate you with a fine. Where is Ghandi when you need him?

Great Sylvan Lake for Swimming, Water-skiing, and Visiting the local Wild Rapids Water slides.
