I enjoyed the series but don;t know why the writers had to screw up historical facts. Neither of Henry VIII`s sisters married a King of Portugal. Margaret married the King of the Scots and Mary married the King of France and then 2nd the Duke of Suffolk.

They were so awesome! I just hated the way they had him treat her on the show. I think that he really loved her and her death was a huge wake up to him with the way he treated people and lived his life. He's much more mature now... I'm only in S2 but still... I liked him best with her romantically but hated how he treated her... stange, huh? Great video!

@unlimited1803 Yes. When Charles Brandon fell in love with King Henry's sister Mary (the show "The Tudors" combined the sisters Mary & Margaret into one character, called Margaret). When the King of France (her husband) dies, Brandon was supposed to escort her back to England for Henry to manage a future marriage--however, Mary and Charles eloped while still in France.

It's pretty rare when you have a royal couple from history who actually loved each other.

Mary the sister of the King and wife of Charles Brandon (Mary and Margaret were conflated by the producers of this) died in 1533, the same year Elizabeth was born.

That may be a clue, but the series was so grossly inaccurate that I refuse to watch any more of it so I cant pinpoint the episode or even if Mary's death was shown

Such a shame they cant continue the tudors. i mean, they can, but they made margaret and mary into one person, and without margaret marrying james iv of scotland there would be no mary queen of scots, and without mary queen of scots, there wouldnt have been james i of england, and without james i of england, there would be nobody to reign after elizabeth, so i think thats why it might be difficult to continue the tudors.

yeah the got married and got banished because of it, but eventually were allowed to join the court again. Charles kept sleeping around, and Margaret dies of Tubercurlousis (TB).

You should definitely watch it, it's a great show. A lot of people complain about how historically inaccurate it is, but it's a drama and not a documentary, you know? Margaret is actually a combination of two sisters (the other being Mary, while one actually was called Margaret) and she and as the King's sister she's well above Charles in the pecking order, it gives them a great dynamic in the show.

Very good video (5*****) but, just to be more precise from an historical point of view, Charles Brandon, Duke of Sufflok, went married to Mary Tudor, the last sister of Henry VIII, and not to Margaret Tudor who married to James IV Stuart, King of Scotland . From this marriage Mary Stuart born ; then the latter became Queen of Scotland till she was behaded (as usual) by her cousin Elizabetth I Tudor, Queen of England.
