@Iam1984Terminator I'm not gonna lie, Sonic has been through alot after Sonic 06 but Sally was not created by SOA, she was created by DiC. Sonic Mars was taken down BECAUSE it was slow paced and it made Sonic look like a coward. Sonic Xtreme wasn't going to have Sally, it was going to have Tiara Boobowski, a presumed prototype for Modern Amy. And hope came back to the LOYAL fans after Colors and Generations was realeased. Say what you want but my hero is BACK!
@thehalowarthog Again you need to do more research Dic didn't create them some guy named Ben Hurst made the US continuity and SOA approved it SOA even sent some of their employees to Dic to help out with the series as for Sonic Mars it wasn't cancelled for being slow they cancelled it cause they wanted to do A bigger project which was Sonic Xtreme and yes Sally and the Freedom Fighters were going to be in Sonic Xtreme in the very early development but they scrapped the idea.
@Iam1984Terminator The US continuity was created by the guy who made the "Sonic Bible" which was a piece of crap that was retconned after the realease of Sonic Adventures 2(Gerald Robotnik instead of Kintobor). And I apologize, I got Sonic Mars confused for another Sonic game that was cancelled for the reasons i gave. What you say is true but Sally is made by DiC and SOA helped them on concept for Sonic, his design was based on the US cover box art for the games.
@thehalowarthog SOA owns Sally again they went after Archie's ASS when they were going to kill Sally in the endgame series and Dic couldn't have made the Cartoon without SOA approval same with Archie and the Comics there for they own SATAM SOJ won't allow them to do anything SATAM related except for the comics cause they were butthurt cause we were doing A better job than them in the 90s there is A interview from the president of SOA from 1990-1996 named Tom Kalienske back in 2006 look it up.
@Iam1984Terminator Without SOA's approval, but not SOJ or Sonic Team. Thats why they didn't even know the Satam story existed back then. Also, they weren't doing a good job because SOA's Joe Miller convinced them to make the 32X it's own console and thats what really got SEGA to fail after the Mega CD, not just Japan but America too. But back to this, the cartoons did well but the games were doing better, it's the games that got Sonic to fame, not all this media.
@Iam1984Terminator The Megadrive games and Adventures series(US continuity was too dark to even have Sonic involved) are awesome but i'm not gonna be blinded by nostalgia, I'm just gonna keep on going with Sonic, from Megadrive to todays games(wii,ps3,xbox360).
@Iam1984Terminator Okay, IMO Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 were pretty good but didn't really show off Sonic in 3D It was honestly pretty bland and there was too many scripted events by a little bit Generations was better 'cause it was multipathed it was fast and there was exploration (Could do away with the 2D sections,however) and no Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are WAY better then those three combined.
@TehComentar I disagree it showed off the 3D very well and I didn't think it was bland you wanna see bland look at everything from Heroes to Black Knights god those were terrible I will agree on the multipath and the only reason Generations was fast is because of the freaking cheap Boost.
@TehComentar Still would hate the boost either way I want it gone 100% just like the 90s and early 2000s Sonic should be doing the Spindash that's one of the things I recognized him for NOT the boost it is seriously cheap as fuck it makes the games more casual than hardcore.

@TehComentar That would be nice if SEGA made the Boost and Spindash optional like in the title screen go to options and there is A feature to switch it to either the Spindash or Boost.

I don't want to make anyone mad.... But... I hate it when they keep killing Sally, I hear she'd die more then once and they even made Sally and Sonic date and break up more then once. I don't know the full story, that's why I said don't want anyone to get mad at me, but I'm starting to hate it that they keep having Sally die and break Sonic and her up... I'm still a SallyXSonic fan though and will always be one.

Besides, Sonic doesn't really have any other main love interests - just muses, I guess - and they're both still teens so they have the rest of their lives. It's already been seen that Sonic and Sally are married in various future timelines. Archie has it set that they are destined to be together - but there are many obstacles to overcome.
@xxxchuchu16xxx No, it's not entertaining...but I wouldn't call this an official breakup. She was just roboticized. It's too soon to be jumping to conclusions, so I'm not panicking. Still, I don't recall there being a lot of "break-ups" between Sonic and Sally. The most major one to me was when Sonic came back from his trip from space and Sally slapped him on stage. Funny event...but that break-up did annoy me, mainly because Sonic started dating other girls.

For all we know, the Genesis arc is a reboot, like the Generations game. So Sally still can exist, for as long as the arc remains. But once it's done at #230, we'll be on pins & needles to see if Genesis was a reboot or if it merely delayed the inevitable of Sally dying (which I doubt, due to Ian being a Sally & SonSal fan himself).

@TheEzekiel300 Well thing is Sonic first launched in 1991 then SATAM came in 1993 and Sonic was still way too new I think if they just waited A bit longer like say 1996 then maybe that would have helped and add it to Cartoon Networks Toonami then it would have ended with the same views as DBZ did on Toonami.

@TheEzekiel300 I only read the Sonic Comics back in the 90s as A kid up to 1998 and stopped cause of how much Sonic has changed plus I hated the Art in the recent comics it just looks too kiddy I want the guy who did the Most badass artwork ever for Sonic during the Endgame series and some earlier issues I think his name was Spaz or something I really loved his work plus I was never into the Universe series and I did enjoy the Sally Comics just sad that it lasted short.
Well Spaz has already put his artwork back in Sonic 226 Genesis as we speak! To me Ian Flynn like any one else is not a perfect writer but he is the best so far! I respect your opinion that you like the old stuff! But too me the earlier issues over did it too making Sonic and Sally completely emo to the point where they acted out of character to point that it is over kill! Sonic Mars was taken down BECAUSE it was slow paced and it made Sonic look like a coward. Sonic Xtreme wasn't going to have Sally, it was going to have Tiara Boobowski, a presumed prototype for Modern Amy. And hope came back to the LOYAL fans after Colors and Generations was realeased. And I apologize, I got Sonic Mars confused for another Sonic game that was cancelled for the reasons i gave. What you say is true but Sally is made by DiC and SOA helped them on concept for Sonic, his design was based on the US cover box art for the games.

Also, they weren't doing a good job because SOA's Joe Miller convinced them to make the 32X it's own console and thats what really got SEGA to fail after the Mega CD, not just Japan but America too. But back to this, the cartoons did well but the games were doing better, it's the games that got Sonic to fame, not all this media.

Besides, Sonic doesn't really have any other main love interests - just muses, I guess - and they're both still teens so they have the rest of their lives. It's already been seen that Sonic and Sally are married in various future timelines. Archie has it set that they are destined to be together - but there are many obstacles to overcome.

Still, I don't recall there being a lot of "break-ups" between Sonic and Sally. The most major one to me was when Sonic came back from his trip from space and Sally slapped him on stage. Funny event...but that break-up did annoy me, mainly because Sonic started dating other girls.

For all we know, the Genesis arc is a reboot, like the Generations game. So Sally still can exist, for as long as the arc remains. But once it's done at #230, we'll be on pins & needles to see if Genesis was a reboot or if it merely delayed the inevitable of Sally dying (which I doubt, due to Ian being a Sally & SonSal fan himself).

@AnimeBPlayer95: Look, I know Sally is popular, but it is questionable that she's overrated. Sure, she's the leading lady in the US canon, but that doesn't make her overrated. Sure, she's been written as a Mary-Sue & was also written--in some cases--with the vain hope that fans would want her removed, but that too doesn't make her overrated. The only things she has are the 1991 Sonic Bible & promo comic (both by SoA), SatAM, the comics, Sonic Spinball, & the scrapped SatAM game.

@TherealRNO I just don't like her really, I would tell the reasons, but Terminator is going to backbite me, like if I am person using the first amendment, and shove his opinoins up my throat, I can respect people's opinions, when they like Sally, I just don't like her as a Sonic character same with others like Big the Cat, Shadow the Hedgehog and Cream the Rabbit. Besides not every sonic fan around the world, knows her, people in asia especially.

@AnimeBPlayer95: The thing is, Sally gets the most hate from fans, it seems. Even Amy gets more praise than her and Amy is canonically written in-game as an annoying fan girl twit! At least the comics try to mature her out of that annoying cliche, to the point that both she and Sally co-exist peacefully, despite having mutual feelings for Sonic. If that's the case between Amy and Sally, why can't the different fans of the fandom do the same? It's sad, really.

In Sonic 226 in the fan letter section, they posted peoples opinions about sally's death and People were saying stuff like, "Sonic can't date amy because amy used the ring of acorn to make herself a teenager so she is technically still 12 years old and if he dates amy that would be creepy!" Since Archie was bold enough put that in there comment section sonamy fans just don't have a chance!

The Japanese even admitted that it was the americans who made sonic popular! They even took some of americas ideas like sonics love for chillie dogs and using Gerald and Maria Robotnik! If we ever hope that they would put sally in the games then it's up to SOA to earn it. Sally needs to recover from Ken and Karls crap!

@Iam1984Terminator Yea! if it wasn't for DIC putting Sonic SatAM in a crazy time spot, it probably would have gotten bigger ratings!-I blame that far more than the president saying it was because of the power rangers higher ratings even though I hate power rangers! They also could have replaced sonic underground with sonic satAM time slot least then we'd have a bigger chance! It's just sad that sonic underground gets far more views than sonic SatAM!

@TheEzekiel300 Well thing is Sonic first launched in 1991 then SATAM came in 1993 and Sonic was still way too new I think if they just waited A bit longer like say 1996 then maybe that would have helped and add it to Cartoon Networks Toonami then it would have ended with the same views as DBZ did on Toonami.

Heck they could have still put it wright next to sonic underground time slot or something in 1996! I remember sonic the hedgehog did come on channel USA in 96 but it was still pretty early in the morning! It's as into SatAM kept running into a case of bad luck! You know what I was thinking why don't ian flynn just continue the Satam story line in a comic or something?

I was pretty mad myself at the whole SallyxKahn thing Ian Flynn did which the Sonamy fans jumped all over! I understand romance but sally kissing Kahn almost made me throw up! In my own opinion, I have to admit Ian Flynn is better than the last writers! His stories have kicked a lot of butt! Like Sonic Universe 21-29 was great arcs! and issue 195 was pretty good! @TheEzekiel300 I only read the Sonic Comics back in the 90s as A kid up to 1998 and stopped cause of how much Sonic has changed plus I hated the Art in the recent comics it just looks too kiddy I want the guy who did the Most badass artwork ever for Sonic during the Endgame series and some earlier issues I think his name was Spaz or something I really loved his work plus I was never into the Universe series and I did enjoy the Sally Comics just sad that it lasted short.

Well Spaz has already put his artwork back in Sonic 226 Genesis as we speak! To me Ian Flynn like any one else is not a perfect writer but he is the best so far! I respect your opinion that you like the old stuff! But too me the earlier issues over did it too making Sonic and Sally completely emo to the point where they acted out of character to point that it is over kill! Sonic is supposed to be about action and speed nothing wrong with a little romance but they over did it!

Tracy yardlys and ben Bates has her looking like a boy and we cannot have that when there are sonamy shippers out there! Besides the sally thing, I love their artwork especially in the most recent story arc with interior of the death egg! It looks like an actual sonic cartoon and that it can come the page! Honestly, I am thinking this whole death of Sally thing just shows how much Sonic loves her!
