ya an axelrod said obama talked with him to fox news on nov 23rd then when this big whole blowup happened axelrod said 1/2 a month later oops that was a mistake i didn't mean to say that obama never said that lol

and on nov 5 Carol Sowers said obama was meeting obama about the seat that evening but... she didnt say it was a mistake lol

CHICAGO, ILL. -- Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.

That's one of Obama's first priorities today.

He's meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.
