No, I go a few times a year.  I can without a doubt say ACA is safer then where I used to live in Houston. If your looking for trouble you will find it anywhere. If you just do tourist stuff and have fun you have nothing to worry about. Most underrated destination these days.

My extended family lives about 3 hours away from acapulco. You have to stay in the most touristic part of acapulco because if you go farther into the city it gets ugly.

Thank you for this video,you are right, the camera can't do justice. My wife is from Acapulco and as gorgeous as her city. If the time allows we go there one a year mostly in Feb. or March.

Take a jet ski and go all across the bay,it doesn't get any better. Stop at one of the little catering vessels and get a fresh seafood cocktail and a beer or soda, you never had one so good and so fresh in a Five-star-place.

Crime, well, you don't go to the bad part of your hometown at night too ?
