Question! I'm a photographer, and I have an engagement shoot this weekend... could I shoot there without getting in trouble for trespassing? It would make for a gorgeous and interesting backdrop.

Yep. You can shoot here. Sometimes they want you out of there when it gets to 9:00PM....you could ask to stay longer if you need to I think. What are you shooting?

I spent a week there as a location assistant inside at night (by myself) watching gear when we shot the movie Skinwalkers. I didn't witness anything but it was intensly creepy.

I see. There may be a possibility to ask someone to get inside. I have seen hundreds of pics of the inside on the net. St Joseph's Hospital is in charge, and maybe you could ask to go inside?

There may be possible tours of the inside in the future as well. :)

@TheSpectralReview : you are right, the building has an alarm system c/w motion sensors and the site is patrolled by the facilities security guards. The reason for my review was to see what would be required to open the building up to the public as a possible museum, but nothing is definitive.
