  • Gary Johnson is the best presidential candidate for the american people. He has the most logical and ethical economic solutions for this nation as a whole. I ask that you at least research him, and if you do not, if I did know you, I'd have to ask, why are you voting when you do not have all the facts? Why vote only for your own sake instead of for the sake of our nation and the greater good? Take some time and read, and see what else is out there? besides what the media tells you

  • Thank you Craig for all you have done.

  • Ah, Jay Gould, the great philanthropist... "I can hire one half of the working class to kill the other half..."

  • @greg

Olberman rockz. I miss him. Hope he is still keeping Jan Brewer in check. Lord knows, somebody needs to

  • Thank you for focusing in on Tucson. We are just outside of Arizona ;)

  • This commentator is against the people.. he backs the Rothschild Banksters and the NWO Zionists.. it's so obvious ! Power to the people ! The 99% will get ugly if the government tries to condemn them by compromising their rights. Every American watch for the government to try and take our guns. Also, watch the Iran situation... The US and Israel are going to attack Iran...to advance their Zionist NWO agenda ! Impeach Barry Soetoro AKA Obama.

  • Where is the gold, that they stole?

  • See you on Saturday. Stand in solidarity.

  • Tucson = Liberal Island in an otherwise Conservative SEA (Arizona)

  • @EdgarImpact

    Thank the LORD for that

  • @EdgarImpact Yep that's for sure. Pima County always goes blue!

  • 6,000 students are expected* U of A And Pima College are attending the protest.

  • Dont hate wall street because they're playing the game the right way. The one's who made this whole problem, or game, is the Feds. The Federal Banking Cartel created the system of corruption, wall street just Pwned at it. Destroy the source, not the symptom.

  • @watchersx

I would propose a reformation of the system of representation. There should be a move toward direct democracy and participatory government, with representatives coming from smaller districts and becoming less independent political players and instead delegates for local popular assemblies which will have legal standing.

Everything needs to be done to break up the party domination of the process, as well as the influence of lobbying/bribery.

  • @DemokraticRepublican

WOAH , direct democracy? Sorry that doesn't fit the constitution. Direct democracy is mob rule, it never works out for one group of people or another.

  • Get your priorities straight: END THE FED.

  • @efectomariposa93

People have immediate needs that must be met.

Additionally, w/o democratic reform of the political system, there will be no ability to carry out ambitious plans like monetary reform.

  • The tea baggers were bitching much of the same issues.... Now, they and their controllers Fox News stand against this movement, probably cause this movement overshadows theirs. It was free speech when they 'assembled'... Now it's an un-American "mob". If the tea partiers don't want to join this movement and voice their opinion on these issues that affect them as well.... Their really not needed then and thus movement will grow despite them.

  • You smell a "liberal hijacking"...

Maybe cause it's 'mostly' liberals to begin with. The tea party stands with Fixed News... Fixed News is against the movement.

  • Comment removed

  • Amen!

    #OccupyPhoenix , October 15th 2011

    Be there!

  • i smell a liberal hijacking coming up.

  • @doug47130

It's been a liberal/progressive movement from the beginning. All of the basic issues they're championing are associated with the traditional "American left."

  • @watchersx I'd bet with all this activity and push back in the nation; that you're not doing a thing; as you call other people sheep...am I right...yes I am. You don't want to be hurt, a understandable concern; so you have your guy, Ron Paul, who will walk out ahead, and maybe absorb the blows, and heaven knows what else. Get up, and get out there; if you won't do that then send supplies for the occupations; raise money Do something. None of us want to get hurt, but one man can be removed easily

  • @watchersx Very well said. I think that politicians need to be humble selfless servants of the people. The money scheme attracts flamboyantly greedy corporate pigs. The incentives are all wrong. They should be rated by their honesty and public trust.

  • yay!!

  • @watchersx If one man is the hope of a nation; rather than it's population, then that nation is lost. So 300 million Americans can't save their nation, but one man can ? Further the first miracle is Ron Paul getting elected since criminals control the diebolds machines; the second miracle is R. Paul surviving the elite gangsters that the American people refused to prosecute, so now he has to survive them, and that will definitely require a miracle. Only a weak people would reason this way.

  • @watchersx Jesus people like you need to learn something called skepticism and self criticism. You hear something you want to believe and you roll with it. No better than a german being told they are a member of an imaginary master race and they jumping up in joy..

  • Im also willing to bet there will be no "Ending the fed" anytime soon. Not enuff people awake yet. If the economy starts to go back up, then it will all be forgotton. Only until the next engineered collapse then more of the unawake masses might participate in the real problem, the federal reserve, the central banks, the imf, world bank. etc.... All this protesting hasnt done shit yet. the markets are up almost 1000 points in 7 days. I guess it will be awhile for the real uprising.

  • @jdocks777 We don't need to wait; we can be urging people to transfer their money out of the banks into the credit union. Also hit the financial power houses by ceasing the use of credit cards, their multi-billion dollar industry of debt and slavery. The uprising is now; people need to stop waiting. Get up and grow the End the Fed movement just as OWS did .

  • @jdocks777 Since I support both End The Fed and OWS, I can tell you that ETF people have a public relations problem. It attracts a certain type of person who is seemingly more authoritarian, more divisive and regimented; less tolerant, and that doesn't make for a movement. It's not that people aren't awake..it's the anti-social types that seem to gravitate to ETF. No one want's to be around that. I said I support the OWS, and was told that I would be killed as a commie. Too many haters.

  • @asymthought i support both OWS and ETF as well, let someone try to kill me for it lmao let's see how good that turns out for them.

  • @SkyrimRanger Lol.. yes, I'm amazed at how hostile people are towards OWS. I think because the elites are truly afraid of this movement, which is expanding by leaps and bounds. Psyop agents are coming out from everywhere to attack this movement, which makes me think, it's really grassroots, and they want to stop it.

  • I have wondered what kind of good food the people at the federal reserve eat? Im sure it isnt mcdonalds, or flouride water. Im sure once there are more occupy the fed rallies, we will see if there food is better than occupy wallstreet. lol.

  • One thing this OWS is elucidating, is that Amerika has a lot of fucking commies.

  • @matsutakneatche

    What commies? Where?

Not believing in laissez faire capitalism doesn't make one a commie.

  • "Will work for food" even if its gmo. wonder what kind of treats there serving at the occupy greed street?

  • Communism is not the answer to the looting of our country. We need to kick the international bankers out and politicians who are looting our country and try to end corruption with death penalty for first offense of corruption.

  • @Graham6762 The communism hype is a psyop to get a MCCarthyite scare going so that Americans will attack Americans. The elites are ready to jump start civil strife, turning Americans upon themselves. It's questionable whether Americans have the sensibility to resist this deadly psyops that is now being pushed upon them. The social attack on Americans has begun, and they seek to create factionalism here as they did in Iraq, to completely shred our society.

  • @asymthought

Exactly. The same trick is being used in Egypt right now (stoking tensions between the Muslim and Coptic populations.)

  • Comment removed

  • Is that a huge mole on this dudes face? "Here is a quarter" ha ha ha. John Candy

  • Occupy the MSM!

  • HOW BOUT OCCUPY THE FUCKING FED ?? THE REAL PROBLEM

  • @reym613 One problem at a time friend. We need the money out of politics first. That is a lofty goal in and of itself. So many ills can disappear once we make politics honest.

  • @matcotech

Exactly what I've been saying - monetary reform will come with democratization of the system.

  • @reym613 Grow your OccupyTheFed movement...no one is stopping you. During the 60's you had a civil rights movement; a women's lib movement; and an anti-war movement, during the same era. Stop focusing on OWS, and develope the OTF movement. I see more End The fed people railing against OWS people...get up and develope the OTF movement.

  • @asymthought i would love to... but im in Canada :/

  • @asymthought

While there are differences of opinion as to priorities, I could see an OTF movement being able to intersect with OWS.

  • @DemokraticRepublican Yes, I don't see the problem; it's two sides of the same coin; and both sides should be covered.

  • @reym613 seems the "problem" is much more systemic and complex than the fed alone...

  • @reym613 the FED is on Wall Street. the members of the FED are the Major Banks of Wall Street. the two are intertwined.

  • @Will224000 Yes they are intertwined but a large psyops is being launched against the American people trying to erect a red scare which worked in the past. The elites are ready to shred American society as they did in iraq; and inflame American to attack American; left against right; divide and conquer, and the 1% and bankers look and laugh as they always do. Divide and conquer, when DOESN'T it work.

  • @asymthought

The protesters are doing a great job at dividing as it is. If you are a Tea Party member and you speak your mind at any of these rallies ... watch the threats fly. I found this first hand at just mentioning the fact that public sector unions are just as much the 1% as corporations. You don't have to agree but it is fact and I got shouted down for that. The government doesn't need to divide.

  • @ckovarovic So if it were hypothetically a anti-war movement; your belief is that you should freely be able to speak your mind about the glory and profitability of war ? You say the public sector unions are also the 1% ? I'm sure that could be proven to be historically and politically inaccurate. Yep you'd be a irritant even to the tea party, with such inaccuracies, and subversions. You have no concept of what solidarity is, nor do you agree with the precepts of this movement.

  • @asymthought

Prove it wrong then. Do not say its wrong and leave it at that.

    hotairdotcom/archives/2011/02/23/time-to-abolish-public-employee-unions

    nationalaffairsdotcom/publications/detail/the-trouble-with-public-sector-unions

What is irritating is when you give a point and its dismissed without thought nor discussion, a valid point at that. I agree that big money needs to get out of politics so do not assume you know what I think.

  • @ckovarovic I think you were attempting to emphasize that the public sector unions had substantial power; but you stated it in a manner that was inaccurate. The first article was unavailabe; and the second article indicated that members of the unions were middle class. Middle class is not the 1%, nor does it own 80% of all the wealth on the planet. If you wanted to convey that the public sectors unions have too much power, and receive too much compensation... possibly.

  • @asymthought

Yes Too much power and influence in government. It isn't the rank and file of the unions but the Union heads them selves. It does not belong attached to the federal government. As far as wealth, the unions have plenty of it. I am not a You Tube master so I don't know why my links don't work but you can find plenty examples of union money in politics and large sums of it. On the same note, the rank and file of corporations is also middle class.

  • @ckovarovic If someone has their hand in your pocket, and another is crushing your windpipe; if you don't have the awareness to get the hand off your throat; all will be lost. You're focus is the hand in the pocket; OWS is on the throat. Since you're not aware that the middle class is not the 1%; you also aren't aware that you don't enter movements that you ideologically oppose; it's consistent that you can't prioritize between pocket and throat. You went to OWS to be an obstructionist.

  • @ckovarovic If you want to continue this discussion it will have to be done in messages. I think even here, you're either misinterpreting, or subverting and people such as your self, help to destroy movements. You require a debate club, not a movement., but understanding that definitely requires common sense. Pick it up in messages...or not; I'm done here.

  • @ckovarovic

Well, they reacted poorly b/c you're aping elitist talking points.

While not w/o problems, the labor union movement (and spec that of the public sector) are not at all comparable to the trans-national parasites who are sinking the ship with their greed.

  • @DemokraticRepublican

They are certainly comparable to large money that influences government and a better example of the same. Perhaps not internationally but within the United States, definitely.

  • @ckovarovic Back to your initial statement...you probably knew you didn't agree with the mission, precepts, ideologies, political and social constructures of this movement, before you even arrived; but you went there to "speak your mind". That's an indicator of your character, and intent right there. Most tea party members would have the common sense to avoid movements that are diametrically oppositional to their beliefs.

  • @asymthought

Actually that's untrue. I do agree that money needs to get out of politics, I do agree that corporatism is wrong for the US , but I also think the same pertains to a public sector union. When I first talked to them it was a "non partisan" movement that drastically turned ,not only partisan, but very anti constitution. I am open to others views on the situation but not tolerant to anything that is anti constitution. I debate to learn and to teach.

  • @asymthought

As far as Tea Party being diametrically opposed to others beliefs, I'd also argue that they are wide open to opinion. I've met many that will sit and talk with you about nearly anything without the name calling and the assumptions that I've seen from the OWS. I've been to many rallies and gatherings and have never seen the animosity shown by many of the protesters . I won't say all as I've had a number of good discussions, but the majority is unwelcoming.

  • @reym613 you are righ on the problem and it is the first step that should be taken and I would thnk everyone protesting would see this... We need to be making our own money and not be charged interest on it and how dare this gov. make it a crime to use gold and silver when this is the only legal tender according to our Constitution, and we all know what they think of that. Kick them the hell out of office if they can not uphold it. PEACE

  • @reym613

you get the money out of politics and you will get the fed

  • @lagor200 EXACTLY!! Get the money out of the election process *and* legislative processes, and the rest will take care of itself when the people's voice is restored.

  • @tgrigsby7 wanted you to know i agree with you. This is how you get the money out of polotics. Teach the people how to use the net. For the last 5 years i have been in deep studies. And in the mix of all the different subject matters that i study, i came across Gary Johnson. He would send a great messege to congress by getting elected. And he has the best track record out of anyone all together with the best economical plan. Want to send a messege to greed and corruption? look at Gary Johnson

  • Once we have congressmen we can trust in office and a president who can provide economic security and balance, we will need to reform the way we vote somwhat. Make a for the people type of branch that has a secured website. Within this website you can have different fourm boards of some sort, secured login for verification purpose. And once you login as an american citizen you can visit fourms boards for each state and city to discuss issues and solutions. Add video for state rep hosting.

  • Have a board for national issue disscussion. You could have a nice canidate disscusion board, Internet folks. SOLAR POWER folks, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, economic and eviromental BALANCE and security. These are REAL issues and we need to make sure people running the country are in check with them. I hope people can read what i say so that they may help to find solutions or exspand onto mine.Anyone who lets greed effect these particular things SHOULD NOT RUN THE COUNTRY.

  • I wish I could participate!

I hope someone occupies somewhere in Columbus, OH soon.

  • I'm going to occupy Bill O'Reilly's brain.

  • @Rodney92 if you can get through his thick fucking skull

  • most folks are still struggling to occupy their own homes

  • RE VO LU TION!

  • "In this matter I am entirely on the side of the revolutionists. They are really right to be always suspecting human institutions; they are right not to put their trust in princes nor in any child of man. The chieftain chosen to be the friend of the people becomes the enemy of the people; the newspaper started to tell the truth now exists to prevent the truth being told." G.K. Chesterton

  • the status quo is trying to hijack the protests like it already did to the tea party

  • @flaank1 they already have

  • Liberal hypocrisy as its best. MSNBC gave Fox nothing but shit for supporting the Tea Party, and yet MSNBC goes right around and supports the Occupy Wall Street protestors.

  • @TheTubbtubb Because the Occupy Wall Street arn't Teabaggers? Occupy Wall Street, honestly is a movement to make those responsible for the financial bubbles popping to be held responsible.

  • @TheLordValarath If that were true it would be called Occupy The Federal Reserve lol.

  • @TheTubbtubb Well, you see. They're as far as i'm concerned, just as responsible for the tanking economy as the corperations themselves. The Fed isn't even part of the government to begin with.

  • @TheLordValarath how about the assholes inflating the bubbles? Like the fucking government sleeping with wallstreet execs and the fed

  • @TheLordValarath

And what is the Tea Party? They are constitutional , small government , liberty loving people. They have shown they are attempting to change the status quo after the last congressional election. What solutions has this movement come up with?

  • @ckovarovic

The tea party seems to be mostly anti-government while the occupy wall street people are clearly anti-coproration. The fact is we need to be united in this...we have corporatism in this country which is a combination of corrupt corporations and government. I wish people would unite on this and forget all the left and right bullshit that only divides us.

Liberal...conservative...these labels are meaningless when our government functions only for money and power.

  • @TheTubbtubb This isn't MSNBC.

  • @TheTubbtubb October 12, 2011 CURRENT TV Keith Olbermann

  • @neacej1 I forgot he switched channels, but my point stands.

  • This is GREAT! I can't wait to occupy something.

  • Congress just passed more massive tax increases on working people of the U.S., through what is called “Free” trade agreements. Congress, mostly those with current power the “R” beside their name people, voted to remove more economic stimulus from Main St. and shift that power to Wall Street. These tax increases will cause many more working people to be taxed with longer work days just to have the basic necessities.

  • @BrianDaleBarnett

    What?

Well, this proves clearly that democrats are equally as bad as republicans! Democrats are clearly the ones who fund islamophobia and are birthers.

  • @BrianDaleBarnett

Ummmm, that's Obama's bills, and he is looking at 8 more right now.
