  • Lived there the same time you did as a child. Touching video. Went through a similar thing so I know how you feel. God bless.

  • This is beautiful!

Your mother must have been an amazing woman to instill such love and loyalty in her children.

I also grew up in Lompoc and just recently lost my mother. Margaret Miranda 1935-2012

They may have known each other . You probably knew one of us. We were everywhere (5kids)

Thanks for sharing. Now I need to to go grab a tissue to dab my tears ;)

  • I used to live in lompoc when I was 7.

I had some friend in a coldisac where I used to play remote controlled car with.

The prison made it really depressing, my dad went there to help people with brain cancer.

Sad depressing place, but I do miss that one kid :(

  • Beautiful! Born and raised in Lompoc. Your story really hits home.

  • Great video. I was casually enjoying it until I realized that we lived a few houses away and me and my brother used to hang out with Mike...around 1971. I remember your Mom. Thanks for the memories.

  • @clanden5 This is Mike, who was your brother? I am glad you liked the video, loved my childhood. Take care!

  • @birder74 Hey Mike, tried to send you an email to a few days ago. Hope we can connect soon. My Mom was wondering if your Mom stayed in Lompoc. Thx - Chris

  • I was also born and raised in Lompoc, but of a newer generation (1988). As my parents moved here at a young age. My father attended LVMS when it was still the high school I believe.

  • God Bless, Your Mom, and Bless you and your family
