i was 8 when i watched this... i hated volleyball back then

I believe this may have been the biggest television audience event in Canadian sports history. It was the weekly World Cup match of the week. I remember the worldwide TV audience being estimated at 200 million. None of the three lost games were blow-outs of the Canadian team, against the powerhouse Brazilians.
