Theres not a time when you're not or else you wouldnt be able to talk about them. All thoughts report to you. The only thing is you probably give them too much power and attention. Dont try to resist thoughts bc like in this video that will only fuel the fire. Just be still and surrender to the moment, no matter how turbulent the mind is. It will quiet. Nothing can touch you.

@BIGBOSSTEDDY Then do it. :) Sit down, cross legged, and bring your awareness to your breathe. Every time a thought arises stop the thought with ease and bring your awareness back to your breathe. Start meditating 20 minutes or so at a time, and then move up to 30, and then 40, and continue for as long as you want. It may be very difficult or annoying at first, but it WILL become easier!! :D

Stop and resistance and judgment are not part of meditating. Meditation is about allowing. Interesting, as a practitioner of Iaido i can attest to the struggle with ones emotions. a swordsmen most always stay vigilant and calm because if you don't you mind is divided, and as the saying gos, a house divided cannot stand

what a fantastic video! its true sometimes when i meditate i can get distracted, sometimes we may feel that we must meditate in utterly silent surroundings, but nature is what it is, always in motion,just accept what is....IS!!! re-iterate that word, acceptance!... its so true!

Immue....... If u can find a good tai chi or chi gung class in your area it is a good place to start to learn meditation which will help you to quieten your thoughts. Hope this helps

Interesting, as a practitioner of Iaido i can attest to the struggle with ones emotions. a swordsmen most always stay vigilant and calm because if you don't you mind is divided, and as the saying gos, a house divided cannot stand
