not really. w/ the acapulco trade between mexico, the philippines, and spain, it isnt uncommon to see mexicans in the philippines or filipinos in mexico. each country has areas that are catered towards the other culture. i.e. Michoacán, Guerrero, and Colima have large populations of filipinos and luzon and cebu have little mexicos.
