As far as now the letters Mu, Nu, Tau and Upseelon is concerned that is the ancient pronounciation and not the modern one. And there is also a theory that sugests that the ancients might have pronounced them like Mü, Nü, Taü and Üpseelon (germans will understand this... ;-) )
Hi, I am from Greece. I watched your video and I do not want to be mean but your pronounciation as well as many of the examples you have in your video are wrong! :-( the greek letters are pronounced as Alfa Veeta GHama(gh like y in yellow) DHelta(dh like th in the) Epseelon Zeeta eeta THeeta(th like th in think) eeota or yota(y like y in yellow), Kapa, Lamdha(see DHelta) Mee Nee KSee Omikron Pee Ro Sighma(see GHama) Taf eepseelon Fee CHee(ch like h in He) PSee Omegha(see GHama)
I'm in Dr. Woodall's Koine Greek class. I believe that Koine Greek is a dead language and nobody really knows the EXACT pronunciation of it. Most scholars follow an Erasmian pronunciation which I believe is the one Dr. Woodall uses in this video. Thanks Dr. Woodall for posting this. HQ
Dude, I'm Greek and ....You butchered it, malaka. Depending on the regional dialect, 80% of those pronunciations are hacked into crap. You speak like a goddamn tourist.
