What a disappointment! I was hoping it'd have the same sort of vocals and arrangement as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or other spaghetti western themes.
Not taking anything away from HM, the beat and rythm he is giving Perfidia is definitely Mambo. A great arrangememnt and great interpretation. But Perfidia's original composition is that of a Bolero.
Added to my Hugo Montenegro playlist. and the list for Marimbas & Vibes. This is almost as good as Cugie's version, love the bass trombone, too.
