  • This is a steptronic auto tranny not a DCT double-clutch transmission.

  • You're gonna hurt the car if you rev into the red zone like that.

  • @billysepf74 maybe if it was a GM or chrysler...

  • 1:30 - 'Houston we're breaking up! We're Breaking up!

  • Sweet Jesus! Rocket launch at 1:22

  • all i hear is wind

  • roll up your windows you fucking moron or get a better camcorder

  • ONLY m3 had DCT in 2008. know ur facts, man.

  • @lalibilalibiwith Look at the date of the video, it says 15 November 2008

  • @Ninjade666 but u dont have a m3! u should get a manual. its so much better.

  • @Ninjade666 u dont have a m3.

  • @Ninjade666 There is usual automatic gearbox on this video. Just look at the shifters.

  • @Ninjade666 Not sure what you are trying to imply there but he's got a point... only M3's had DCT then and even today they've only added it recently to the 335is.. 335"i" still do not have DCT... if anything ur's is steptronic which can easily be seen by the two way shift paddles..

  • @lalibilalibiwith I have a 2009 335i DCT... sorry bro they just didnt exist in the states until 2010 ! We've had them in Europe since Mid 2008...

  • This isn't DCT.

  • 335 do come with DCT transmission

  • this isnt the DCT transmission you can tell by the paddle shifters. its just the basic one but still a nice car

  • You're a dog poo, you epic fail.

  • Just because you can't get dct in the states doesn't mean it isn't an option elsewhere.

  • HAHAHA everything about this title is so fail.

  • Not DCT.

    Standard Steptronic transmission.

  • manuals are the best

  • 335i does not come with an available DCT. Only in the e9x M3 and the 2011 335IS with the N54 engine. The new E89 Z4 has DCT as standard equip for the Auto. New N55 engine vehicles 2011 models have optional DCT with no M-Mode as that is reserved for M3.

  • thats not fucking manual you faggot

  • Mate, please upload another video with better sound. I would love to hear what this sounds like but all I can hear is wind.

    Thanks

  • ick... flappy paddles. I'd much rather a proper manual gearbox to a slushbox that lets you choose gears.

  • you obviously don't know much about gearboxes.

  • whoa, put up your windows

  • really?....i didn't notice. would you rather have a Chrysler Sebring? Pontiac G6? maybe a Lincoln MKZ?.....just wondering...those are all great choices.

  • The gearbox looks faster (and noticebly faster) than the same put in the M3: perhaps the 335i comes already with 2.1 gearbox software, which solves the problems seen in the first M3 implementations, such as too much delay from the click on the paddle and the gearshift, and an annoying and strange "second time" in the upshifts, before second clutch re-attacks.

In this 335i these problems look solved, and shifts excellently, very beautiful!!!

  • wtf is with this...... get a better camera or close ur window

  • Did you have your window open or something, it sounds very noisy in there

  • it hasn't yet arrived in the states but that doesn't mean it isn't available

    ignorant fuck

  • read up about it before calling anyone an ignorant fuck,,,it isn't coming to the united states on the 335i at all for 2009 models...only the overseas models have that option, we only get it on the m3 for right now

  • What do you not understand about what I just said?

You just REPEATED what I said.

not in the states yet but available overseas

  • hmm...you got me, i read your comment incorrectly. i read it as "it hasnt yet arrived in the states but that doesnt mean it isnt coming" so yeah i saw it as if you said it was probably coming to the US it just wasnt here yet. my bad

  • How about you just be nice mk? All those nasty words equate to nothing. Fucking jackass.

  • look at the speedo, it is in KMH! 335 dct is available in foreign countries no the US. ::rolls eyes::

  • The window is freaking closed, you must have a hearing disorder.

  • When you floored it all you heard was rumbling. Get a better camera then.

  • nohoghettoarmo has a point though...when you floor it at the end it sounds a lot like the window is open

  • @Ninjade666 If the window was closed, then a lot of noise makes it into the car. crappy quality

  • @Ninjade666 Close your window faggot!

  • Comment removed

  • @Ninjade666 Fuck no that window ain't closed? Its sounnds like you're driving with the fucking camera out of your window jackass! Plus this isn't manual shifting! its automatic transmission idiot!

  • Cool video! Does this have launch control like the M3-DCT?

  • yeah right ... whatever ... I know it is a DCT, I drive with it every day. You can't see on the video the DCT shifter. If you look at the other clip (automatic shifting) you can see it get's in to 7th gear, (probably edited the film)

  • I think that as the owner of the car I would know if the car has a dct or not.

  • @Ninjade666

As the owner of the car, can you tell me what is engine brEAking? :D

  • Overdrive and your sport button have nothing in common. The sport button actually changes the steering ratio and the sensitivity of your gas pedal.

Overdrive is a transmission thing that is basically like automatic clutching so that you can freewheel the engine.

  • You have lost a good occasion to shut up, you know?

Automatic option for 335i Coupé and CC is now the double clutch transmission M-DCT, from the second part of year 2008.

    Same option for new Z4 S-Drive 35i.

All the other engines have Steptronic as automatic transmission.

This is the difference between people who simply has got cars and people who loves cars and KNOW cars.

Bye bye ridicoulous scrub ;-) !

  • @Notin2aBoss actually you can have dct on a 355i "hahahahaha" (?)
