Thanks for posting this. I recently broke the slide stop lever on my glock. I took it the local gunsmith for repair and he was charging me $40 he said it would take him 5-10 days to fix it. after 14 days of not hearing from him i had enough, i picked up my glock and did it myself.
hey great video. Just a quick question. after following your video step by step. once my glock is put back together. the slide lock seems to enguage everytime i pull the slide back. even though there is no mag in the gun. and its never done it before. can you help me!
Hey, I had the same damn problem. Its because this guys is a fucking idiot. He's not a Glock armorer, or else he would know that the top pin is the first to be installed, before the slide stop. you bent the slide stop spring lever, just like I did on BOTH my extended slide stop, and my stock one. You insert the top pin, then the slide stop lever, then the trigger pin. The spring does not go above the top pin. Fucking asshole.
@promodpred I know it has been a while but if no one has helped you yet, that last large pin he puts in here needs to go in from (point the gun away from you) right to left. It can catch not only when racking but when shooting also.
Great videos for a great carry weapon. One thought; I used a Swiss Champ for carry and in my toolbox for quite sometime. I never used the fishscaler or saw in the city, just made the knife unwieldy. Every tool/blade I used was found on the Explorer or new Explorer Plus. I noticed that the tools you used on the Glock and in your videos in general can be found on the smaller Explorer series also. Not only lighter but easier to use, you may find you want to carry one.
great video series, this will help alot of guys...breakign down a gun can be intimidating at 1st, but as you know and as people can see its really not very hard to do...

Glocks don't need much lube, but you didn't lube your Glock.

ccatdaddy 3 years ago
The m&p's are good guns I might be bying 1 soon but I'd go with the glock if u find a m&p at a good price grab it if not go with the glock
