the motion control rig allows them to have the camera capture the same shot over and over. EXACTLY the same. I'm guessing that the people they wanted in slow motion are the ones that were filmed in front of the green screen. After they filmed those individuals, they removed the screens and filmed the scene again. After wards they slowed down the initial person and composited the green screen shot on, making the person appear in slow motion while everything else was in real time.
