Well somebody had to replace Frank. Actually Jeff Long (AD) met Petrino at a Big East Media Day, when Long was at Pitt and P. at UL. Nutt and Ole Miss lose to Jacksonville State, at home after a 21 point 4th qtr lead.

Well somebody had to replace Frank. Actually Jeff Long (AD) met Petrino at a Big East Media Day, when Long was at Pitt and P. at UL. Probably was first choice but waited till a moment of vurnerability. I placed 20 bucks in a pool for 4 years for Petrino, but ya never know with some people. He was an assistant at Auburn so he does know the SEC some.

lol as far as Vick goes. When he does get released from prison and do believe the NFL will tack on another year worth of suspension on him. Honestly, he won't play in the NFL again. At least he should have finished the season with Atlanta before quitting, but his actions were completely audacious he is villified for it. This puts a black for any coach who coached both College and NFL (Pete Caroll, Dennis Erickson) and College coaches trying to coach in the NFL by giving the notion that College coaches can't "Hack it".

What coach doesn't lie? Every coach in college or the NFL has coached at 100 different places. The only thing that matters is that Arkansas' liar beats the opposing teams liar. Horrible traffic, crime rate through the roof, and now no water. Who wouldn't trade that for a peaceful life in the Ozark Mountains where there is almost no crime and little traffic? No Brainer!
