my husband and i went on our first date to a jason mraz show in 2006 and heard this for the first time and dubbed it our song. we got married a year later and danced to it at our wedding! our wedding bands are inscribed to say "the sky is yours" so even though everyone calls it their song now, i get so happy to hear it everywhere just because of my darling husband!
