How have you gotten 5 Thumbs-Ups for your post? The 6 original Robot Masters, of which Guts Man is one, were created by Dr. Light and reprogrammed by Dr. Wily. Wily's stealing Dr. Light's robot, not his own.

It's worth noting however that the Gutsman Wily steals from the museum is a copy of the original one.
