  • People that talk shit about cats are just mad cuz they got smoked by one. Arctic Cat industry leading performance Boss Cat, King Kat, El Tigre, EXT, THUNDERCAT, ZRT, F-Series, one word describes all these sleds DOMINATION.

  • Arctic Cat's shit ski doo, have fun on your french canadian piece of garage. Ya go to shit doo so you can wear spandex and be like rdmasonry on the trail. SKI-QUEER

  • shitty kittys suck dick man go to ski doo

  • Nice. That is the fastest sled known to mankind!Maybe not with you on it.Bahahaha just kidding. You fit the Thundercat image though.Beautiful sled man! Wish I had one. Thats THE fastest year.

  • I had a 95 900 and it was stupid fast. I think it was 162 hp stock. Not many sleds could hang out although the suspension was nothing like the newer sleds today. Very reliable sled with minimal breakdowns.

  • sweet sound: D

  • now if i were u i would buy i 12inch shock just for u n your belly

  • @MrHeavygamer HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I know this sled it is prob around 240 horse now doesn't even look like the same sled the polaris guy has a small penis

  • nice sled man!

  • Nice sled! Anyone who talks shit about a Thunder cat is an uneducated idiot. Nothing stock vs. stock will beat it across a lake if its running right! I own two a 1998 and a 2001 and I'm a Polaris fan. I also own a few other triples including the 2003 XCR 800, just another example of a wicked fast reliable sled!

  • we had the exact same machine. Never got 2 rides back to back.... without having expensive trouble, it was JUNK.. Althought the service at artic cat is great.I would still buy artic cat .Just not a Thundercat.

  • @fattonybob screw u he a arctic cat

  • dont worry about the belly man its paid for.

    sled sounds great !!

  • one of my buddies had one he was doing a lake pass and the clutch exploded and shot throuhg the belly of the sled...so fast

  • cat<ski shit

  • Hey my dog isnt ugly! I know my belly is tho

  • @camman62 you tell em man!! i would kill to have a 98 thundercat!!! riding a 01 zr 800 now but would take the tcat any day of the week!

  • what typ of shit dose this thing have into it it sounds bad ass

  • well i do know that arctic cats suck and the only people who drive arctic scrap are people who cant afford real sleds like a ski doo mxzx 800R thats what i'm ripping and it would rape that pos pussy kitty any day. O and tell your mom that i say hi and last night was fun!

  • is that how all your combacks are to people kid? and btw i highly dout u even own a sled cause i looked at ur vids and there like stupid rc shit

  • @xllxAndrewxllx are un educated and my 1996 zrt 600 can beat an 01 skidoo 600 from start to finish dont talk shit till u have been on one

  • sounds fuckin mint man

  • try and get your shit-doo to sound like that let alone beat it

  • the cylinders shouldnt heat up at different temps, liquid cooled motors should run the same temp in all cylinders.

also where do you ride in VT?

  • They will heat up a differnt temps because on ZRT's and T-cats The coolant comes in the mag side and had to travel alway down to the clutch side warming up in the process. That means The mag side cylinder is getting cold coolant and the clutch side is getting already warm coolant meaning that the clutch side should warm up faster and run the hottest

  • @Arcticcatfan1892 that makes perfect sense. i've only worked on ZRs and ZLs so im still learnin about the triples.

  • @Turbojeep23 no problem its one of those things that you wouldn`t think of unless you spent time working on that paticular motor. i rarely work on twins lol seeing as i only have 1 all the rest are triples

  • another thing to back this up is that if you look at the base gaskets are different for all the cylinders on ZRT's and t-cats. The passages where coolant flows though are all different sizes. mag side has the smallest opening (since it is getting the coldest coolant straight from the water pump) and progressivly get bigger.

  • what kinda pipes?

  • how much faster does it warm up ? is it smokin hot while the others are just warming up? might be because the mag side is surrounded by pipes so the heat from the pipes and cylinder make it seem hotter, and since the pipes are there they block alot of the air flow that cools the outsides of the cylinders a little. just a couple of idea's

  • look for pipes that fit into the stock silencer...you'll get the power of the pipes and a close to stock sound

  • I would take it to a arctic cat dealer! Sounds like some clutch issues, could be dangerous, possibly donate! If it were me I would get it checked out.

  • Where are you located?

  • I have a 1998 Arctic Cat Thundercat that is 1000 cc. Honestly, it is a very nice sled! Really fast.

Other than it's having problems and we're not whizzes on snowmobiles, so we do not know what's wrong with it.

If anyone could help me, that would be great. When you've been riding it for about 40 minutes, the belt won't go. We think the clutch needs to be replaced but we're not sure. Could the belt be getting too hot and stretched out?

  • I'm not sure, with all the new noise laws I would stick with the stock pipes!

  • yeah I believe AC rated em @ 170hp for 98's. 98 was the first year of 1 Litre and made the most hp, better timing curve.

  • With reeds and the breathers, about 170 175 hp

  • dude, my 1st sled was a 96 zrt600 that i rode when i was 13. i still got the sled. Its the perfect sled for me and how i ride. I ride on smoother trails, usually pretty fast. And it will kick the shit out of alotta bigger sleds on the lake. The only problem i have with it is that it can be a little bit og a bitch to pull over on a -15* morning.

  • k thank you

  • i have a question for you.i am 13 years old and want a snowmobile, but i dont know what to buy. i've ridden snnowmobiles over the years, but only about 3 times. i only have $900 to spend, so i want to know what size and make i would want to get.

  • Thank you!!

  • looks like you have 240 picks, not 192.

  • It may have! I cant remember anymore!

  • the fastest production snowmobile for the past decade. very impressive.

  • Thank you very much!!

  • Its set up for 660ft and 1/4 mile, I've done 6sec in the 660 with my fat ass on ice with it (270lb)!Someone liter would be even faster! I've never ran it more than 1/4 mile and never had a radar gun to see top speed, all i can say is the speddo is way past the 100mph mark when i shut it done after a 1/4 mile run!

  • whats the top speed?
