I wonder how skyrim will turn out, they say they use a new engine, but it looks so much like its the same engine. The rocks especially are identical in all 4 games.
@TacticalStudios Not weird, when i installed physx drivers for Moh airborne, suprisingly the ragdolls apperead in moh pacific assault too because it used the same engine but an older build.
@au25 lol, but I installed all of these texture packs and these Hi def water replacers and it was just terrible looking when this happened, BUT, I am now using earlier drivers so THANKS!
@TacticalStudios both fallout 3 and new vegas are picky, i picked new drivers, borderlands FINALLY stopped frameskipping with Shadows on, fallout 3 run like crap, changed drivers, fallout 3 ran, well, borderlands.... so i dont change drivers unless there is a problem, i suggest the same. I use 260.89 and the new ones are 275.33
Also i used hi def textures and they cause stuttering because it takes mot time to load them. Its the engine's problem, its pretty dated. Hoped they fix it in skyrim.
@au25 Yea, in an article Bethesda said that wish it wasn't as buggy as it is, but, for a wide open wasteland where it constantly has to update textures depending on how close you are to them. So you can't really blame them, the gameplay makes up for it.
@TacticalStudios well, not every engine can do everything, source engine for example is not good with big maps. Bethesda's engine is a streaming master, it loads areas wherever you go, put the very complicated scripting on dialogues, items, choices and combine that with the fact that every item/enemy you killed stay at the exact spot of the wrorldmap you left them unlike say far cry 2 that reloads chunks of the map without keeping your interactions, its pretty good. Also VERY moddable.
most likely a graphical error idk if this would do anything but i would just try to downgrade the game because it could just be a glitch or something with that version of fallout. :P

@au25 Holy shit, I have noticed that too, if you use a texture replacer for rocks, it will work in Oblivion, FO3, and FNV!

LOL big fucking deal dude. I set water detail on low just to get rid of stuttering. Come on, its not like new vegas is a good looking game.
advice: disable your graphics mods and use previous drivers,Once i changed drivers and it run like shit.
