  • Do these things flip alot?

  • No not much, they stick to the water well, she only flips if I hit something wrong

  • @quicksiler like a tree :)

  • @cod4madass, yes quite, I guess you saw that video too lol

  • this is the 29mm graupner drive with 700sc brushed motor? how does that motor like 16 cells as far as heat?, what is your esc rated for? mine says its good for 16 cels but that is the max

  • it runs well on 16 cells if you cool the can and brushes. Probably have 10hrs on the motor, still runs great The rest of your questions are answered in the credits of the movie ;)

  • diggen the tool, and jet drives

  • What batteries did you use? I've been looking everywhere for a good quality 8cell pack!

  • They are IB 3600 cells. Just search for em, they'll show up. GP is also an excellent company. I had to make the packs myself, it's not too hard, just need a soldering iron, wires, battery bars and plugs. Total cost for my two 8 cell packs = $120, but they're the best you can buy.

  • how much in total did it cost to convert it with motors, esc, jetdrive....

  • well, let's see the jet unit is $68, esc ~$70, motor~$70, so $200, give or take. If you look at my other videos, you can see the whole process of performance gains/losses of different configurations, including making a single surface drive villain.

  • no, check out my most recent video, it's a surface drive boat with same hull, motor, esc and batteries

  • youre boat is wicked!

is a jet drive faster than a traditional drive?

  • Whats up man nice seeing this thing running , i am also on rcuniverse , you gave me some tips about a prop on my oldschool boat.

  • hey man, guess you found me :) Keep up the work on your boat!

  • look at my vidoes

  • oh yeah, at first I had just seen the sail boats and such, you had that wicked fast villain. get that thing out, I'd love to race you some time. Assuming you're close to NY(upstate)

  • Sweet man. It is a lot faster than it was before! Where did you get it?

  • Built it basically from scratch, unless you count the villain hull, but theres probably only about 70% of that hull on it anymore :) check out my build thread, it's very long, but well documented and shows each stage of build. Stupid you tunes rules, cant post link. search google for "RCU jet-villain" the thread is the first hit.

  • message sent to you, but theyre from hobby-lobby $54, but you might want two, so you have spare parts, you cannot order parts separately.

  • looks good. ivnot had mine out yet this year.

  • what boat you running?
