It was mentioned, as a generalization, that wind speeds reach max at about 15mph, with the exception of the summer wind storms which can cover the entire planet in dust. It's not misdirection, it should be easy to understand.

Gotta love Nasa. They state the maximum wind speed is 15mph and then directly afterward mention storms in the summer heat that reach 150mph. Hypnotic misdirection
