  • I liked this series. It was pretty good. LIke most anthologies the quailty of the episodes was hit or miss but it was usually funny. I wish they would put this out on DVD.

  • Wow, I was never aware of this short lived series in the 80's. It may have been because I was surrounded by so much other corporate greed. I'm GLAD this series died a due death . I now also hate George Burns. He never truly worked a day in his life and embraced Reaganomics. I'm glad that he and Reagan are dead.

  • I saw the first half of this when it originally aired in 1985, but got sent to bed at the mid-show commercial. Now, 25 years later, I finally get to finish the episode and find out why the ghosts were coming back (8-year-old me didn't get that Scrooge had gone too far the other way). Thanks for posting this.

  • Someone HAD to make fun of Scrooge's transformation. There's a difference between being a miserly old coot and a generous push-over with no boundaries. Too bad there aren't that many parodies of the carol like this, the only other one I know is Blackadder's Christmas carol.
