  • This was the best looking Sienna.

  • the 3rd gen look like 2nd gen sienna but beaten up, swollen, given diseases

  • apperance of a prius?? who'd want that

  • This generation Sienna truly was an ugly vehicle. Every time I see one, especially in a color like beige, I want to barf.

  • @kingdarius5252 finally, someone!!! did you think 1st gen sienna was best?

  • @boberson33 1st gen was slightly less dorky looking. Current gen is OK too, but it's not a vehicle I'd even consider

  • @kingdarius5252 1st gen, not dorky at all, from 2001-2003 210 hp, 3500 lb towing when properly equipped, the not one cluttered with gadgets and technology designed to spoil rotten children, and it wasnt made entirely of plastic

  • @boberson33

Yeah, the moral of the story: If want a Toyota, get an OLD one! lol

  • @kingdarius5252 yea, you said it

  • has a floating feeling, lots of wind noise. good brakes.

  • why would you buy a mini van

  • Mah nigguh Sweetsz bought this shitty ass whip.

  • @looolzzz123 Didyo nigguh Sweetsz soup this beast up?

  • @50HitCombo Naw nigguh dis ride was fckin shyt dawg.

  • My mom ownes one that same color

  • dumb toyotas

  • I find this one to be the best looking Sienna Toyota has ever made. I've yet to drive a Sienna, and I'm not planning to buy one anytime soon. But for those who can afford it, and don't mind alot of automatic gadgets, this is the vehicle for you.

  • They don't bother to tell you that the AWD comes with runflat tires and no spare. Make sure you dont get a blowout in the middle of nowhere like I did or you will need to call a tow truck. I have a 2005 XLE Limited AWD. Anyone want to buy this pile of crap? I have had too many problems with it and toyota. No more toyotas for me.

  • This is my favorite van

  • I Have a 2003 Sienna XLE and it has a completely digital interface, dvd player, cassette player, VCR, 6 disc cd changer, heated front seats, and 8 way power driver seat, pretty good for a car purchased in 2003

  • hey, I bought one of these fucking cars and took it to a street race and I got last place WTF TOYOTA?

  • @xXmerciless15Xx My Sienna beat a Mustang in a drag race lol

  • This Is a nice van

  • the ce has sliding doors but the le dosent

  • @THEPOOFSHOW what does the le have then?

  • @itsTiLER my parents have an LE and it has cloth interior power sliding doors and thats really it and our 06 model that we traded in for the 09 was an le and it only had 1 power sliding door it was on the right

  • @THEPOOFSHOW in your previous comment, you made it sound like the le has swing doors. or no doors at all. you need to make yourself clearer. and the le is the lowest spec model if i can recall. so it would make sense to only have one door.

  • @itsTiLER ?

  • @THEPOOFSHOW The Le has them. She said "added to that" after she got done talking about the CE

  • $40k for top of the line Toyota? I don't think so. I'll get a BMW.

  • toyota moving forward (even when you don"t want it to)

  • I am driving this as my practice car. it so easy to drive. and it picks up speed really quick

  • 98 siennas were the best these days toyotas suck

  • @gohst9015 i know right, those were reliable, rugged ones, not cluttered with gadgets and technology designed to spoil rotten children, sienna is not in production since 2003

  • like this Model SIENA XLE AWD how much is a Used one please?

  • Is the sienna based on the Previa / Picnic?

  • @88Sauce succesor to previa

  • toyota, honda, and nissan make the best vans

  • To all who says made in Japan. Get a life. It is made in Southern Indiana by American People. You can't argue with that because its a fact. GM and Ford both make vehicles in Mexico and/or Canada and import them back to America. Ford as production in Mexico (Fusion, Lincoln models) and you American Sports Car Camaro is made in Canada like other GM Models. Point is no matter what Make, Model you buy check the driver door CR Label to see where it is really assemble/made at. Great Van too.

  • toyota=fail

  • RECALL...Said before, I will NEVER buy a TOYOTA. This is why...the media has been lying to us the whole time about Toyota's safety. If you know anything about cars, you'd have known for years to stay away from Toyota products.

  • toyota sucks big time

  • ewwy grossness

  • Toyota has NOT fixed thier sudden unintended acceleration problem, at this point when you kill someone in your toyota you will be just as much at fault as toyota, people should know better, if our government wont do its job then its up too us too protect our selfs and our fellow motorist.

  • Fortunately so far, I haven't heard anyone complaining about this problem in the Sienna.

  • @meattube4u33 1 tip: don't hit the accelerator when you're trying to brake...

  • -lured National Traffic and Highway administration employees into new jobs with the corp. after they blew off complaints that should have generated recalls on Toyota's as far back as 10 yrs ago. I won't buy a car from a company that places profits before my safety. And god help anyone who's driving one of those deathtraps that hits me or someone I love that's too irresponsible to keep it off the road until it's made safe or sent to a junk yard where it belongs.

  • -@ 100mph, your Corolla will travel 146.6 feet. Now, after trying the brake, and taking in the consideration that that human's ability to register and react is about .25 (one quarter) of a second, the vehicle will still travel about 12 car lengths before you'd be able to even think about shifting the car into neutral. how many people can you kill in that distance? The steering rack problem was recalled by GM (unsure about Ford) and was never covered up. Toyota (according to recent news)-

  • Was just bringing up statistics to show that it's not the "stupid American drivers" fault but a faulty product. If the population of Japan is = to that of California, than shouldn't those numbers be lower "per capita?" The point was that drivers are human, whether you're an American or an Asian, Arab, etc...-

  • Does it come with the toyota sludge oil?Isnt sienna the one with the ball joints that let go until the recall years later? what about unintended acceleration, do the brakes sometimes not work like on the prius? frame rust through like the tacoma? I hope it dosent have electric p[ower steering like the corolla, those have been putting people into the next lane out of the blue, I mean really who would put thier kids in one of these death traps?

  • @meattube4u33 The brakes on the prius are fine, it's just idiots who feel the brake pedal push back because of the ABS get scared. They only had to fix software to make the ABS less agressive. It's not like American cars are any better.

  • 34 people (maybe more) that died in their Toyota may not agree with that statement...but they're not around anymore to dispute it. I'll never buy a Toyota again. Unfortunately since it's a piece of crap, it's not worth anything as a trade! I'm going back to GM. At least they have the guts to testify in front of our reps in Congress when they screw up and not hide back on a little island where it's safe...

  • Then again, it's only American drivers that crash, this actually started in Europe, and there have been no deaths. All you have to do is switch the car into neutral, you don't even need to push the brakes for that. GM cars are way worse and have had way more recalls than Toyota.

  • I want this

  • i dont like the new sienna

  • All I can say is... "Toyota, moving forward... Even if you don't want it to, and sometimes not stopping when you want it to either!" because of the safety recalls... And no real solutions... Toyota products have taken a nose dive in resale value. For years everybody, even the media, has drummed up the Japenese auto makers as being so much better than American companies. Now the truth comes out. I will NEVER buy a vehicle from a foriegn auto maker. This should be a lesson to all consumers...

  • @optimus280 Why? Because they screw up on one thing? And yes I know that they have the stopping problems but if you just shift the car into neutral the deaths would stop, I've had the carpets on my car slide up and jam the gas full on and I just put the dear in neutral and there I'm still here. If any of tose Americans were smart enough they would all be alive because the recall has been world wide and the deaths only in America. Other companies have had recalls too, most of them American cars.

  • Shouldn't have to worry about shifting your vehicle into neutral to keep from dying. Not all drivers have NASCAR reflexes, or presence of mind to react in an emergency situation such as that. Toyota still isn't sure what the problem truly is either; maybe a software issue. they screwed up one thing...8 million times! And to make it worse, Toyota tried to cover it up. Read the AP report on how they cut a deal with the government to save $100 million at the expense of American's safety.

  • You don't need NASCAR reflexes, you just need to pay attention. I heard a story of how one driver got to 100mph from 40mph, now as sad as it sounds that person was stupid because Toyotas aren't the fastest cars on earth and it would have taken about 40 seconds for that person to just switch to neutral, you don't even need to press the brakes or anything. And as for the cover up any company would have done the same. There have been cars that are much more dangerous to drive, especialy GM.

  • Comment removed

  • What does that have to do with anything that we were disputing?

  • Comment removed

  • Unfortunately one poor victim was a California state trooper trained in pursuit driving tactics. Killed him along with 3 other family members. That didn't happen to a white knuckled old lady. California doesn't hire stupid troopers. Wouldn't u agree that you shouldn't buy a product from an irresponsible company that tried to cover up a major safety issue regardless of whether or not "Any company would have done the same?" I value my life greater than just accepting negligence as "status quo."

  • Exactly and that's what I'm getting at! Even a state trooper couldn't think of just switching to neutral because American drivers don't think. And as for valuing you life, then we should ban all of the 1950's american cars with the fins, people certainly die from hitting that and american companies still made them. And then the was the steering rack problems in the GM cars. people don't have time to think when their car swerves into the car right next to them. We should ban GM then, it's not -

  • - like GM makes any good cars. They tried to cover up that they were making crap cars by saying they're American and crap. Well I still wouldn't buy it just because it's American.

  • So a Japanese Auto that can Accelerate uncontrollably and possibly not stop when the brakes are depressed is NOT junk...and better than a comparable American car? And you're comparing vehicles manufactured 60 years ago to modern ones build according to MVSS standards? As for stupid American drivers, in 1998 North America (including Canada) had 49,304 traffic fatalities. S.E. Asia (including Japan-the home of Toyota) had 118,608. Who's drivers are stupider???

  • Well aparently now they're better drivers. And like I saud it's not like if they don't have time to react, some lady on the news yesterday said that she had 6 miles before she crashed. 6 miles!!!! And all she had to do was switch the car into neutral!!! Then if Toytoa makes a mistake where people have time to do something and you call them junk then what does that make of the GM cars with their steering rack problems or Ford and the axle problems? People can't stop in time if their car -

  • - just swerves out of nowhere into the car next to them! Or if the car losses it's wheels and axles and the car flips over! Then with the fatal car crashes, most of those accidents in japan happened where there was a higher concentration of people than in America, because Japan has half of America's population in the size of California.

  • I've had two Dodge minivans before I switched to Toyota Sienna and I am glad I did. I've had lots of problems with the Dodge caravans. I am not going back to American brands anymore.

  • good choice my friend

  • @unyok1964 goood dodge and chrysler alway shad issues with their cars until all their new 2011 2012 cars

  • good car but chrysler has the best van right now

  • My grandma's got the 05' Toyota Sienna XLE Limited AWD, Such a great van!!!! The Dodge Grand Caravan Sport - Which we have is also a great vehicle!!! XD

  • honda odyssey... RESPECT IT!

  • not quite the pinnacle of vehicle exterior styling...

  • im not against foriegn cars or anything heck i used to own a 1998 toyota camry very good car but how come all the older foriegn cars like 1986 and older i can hardly find anymore were as many American cars from that era are easier too find and are holding up better too? well just thought id throw that one out there for debate

  • i used to drive a cab sienna in new york, terrible cab, the seats kept breaking, heap of shit! now i have a dodge caravan cab" much better

  • @carocarotho well thats because its a cab!!! the REAL one is amazing

  • Why Doesnt Toyota Offer a Black Leather Interior?!

  • Its funny you say "buy american" when the caravan is built in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The Toyota Sienna is built in Princeton, Indiana. steve89z you're a dumbass!

  • regardless of where it is built the profit goes to an american company not a foreign company.i bought a used mercedes but bought it from an american so the money went to an american not a foreign entity.i would never buy a new foreign vehicle only american.

  • your statement is dumbass,dumbass!

  • @morgand25 What flag is flying over Toyota's corp. headquarters? it's got a big red dot on it. That's not American.

  • @optimus280

American, Japanese..... it doesn't matter. We are all human. BTW, what flag flies over Toyota USA's headquarters? It's got 50 stars and 13 stripes. That's American.

  • @morgand25 even though that is true it doesn't matter where its assembled it matter where the parts come from all the parts are from japan but are assembled over here for what reason i don't no maybe that why its so expensive.

  • give me a good reason to and i will....

  • I wonder how the All-New 2011 Toyota Sienna will look like ......hmmmmmmmmm????? lol

  • My buddy owns an 04 sienna, very nice vehicle but $450. for one wheel bearing?

  • increase ride hight, and add a bigger engine and you have an SUV

  • Much better than the Odyssey.

More hp while getting about the same mpg even if Honda uses cylinder deactivation.

Toyota has better quality and reliability and nicely equipped in base form for thousands less than the honda.

  • It's 24x worse.

When the Odyssey first came out in late 2004, it had the biggest and fastest engine, while the Sienna was still on its shitty 3.3L 230 hp engine (revised to 215 in 2006). When people decided picking the Odyssey over the Sienna, Toyota took the Lexus RX 350's engine (3.5L 270 hp engine) & fitted it in the Sienna.

it just shows how Toyota has to depend on its Luxury company to make a good engine.

When you want reliability, go for the Odyssey.

  • @BlazinChikn23 The 2004 Honda Odyssey only put out a pathetic 240hp from 3.5L The new Sienna puts out 266hp from a 3.5L while the Honduh only cranks out 244hp while getting WORSE gas mileage.

The 3.3L engine was already on its way out when the 3.5L came along. Don't think that the world revolves around Honduh. Honduh is such a copy cat. When the Toyota bb came out, they made the element, Rav4 came out they made the CRV. Toyota had a minivan in 1984. Took Honda 10 years to make one.

  • @dougdangger

What you don't know is that, Toyota ONLY put the 266 hp Engine into the Sienna when the ODYSSEY had 255 hp back in 05. Odyssey's also Best selling minivan, better in every way and they don't have sticky gas pedals.

Face it, Toyota's out for your money.

  • @BlazinChikn23 LOL! Hey stupid, the 3.3L was well on its way out when they put the 3.5L in the Sienna. The 3.5L has made its way into the Camry and Rav4. The V6 Rav4 gets BETTER MPG than the CRV with its 4cyl engine. Why is it that Toyota's 3.5L V6 puts out more power and BETTER MPG than hondu's V6?

Hondu is a copy cat. All they do is copy what Toyota does.

  • @BlazinChikn23 Sticky pedals? Are you aware that your friend Obama is blocking a report that proves that claims against Toyota are false? online(dot).wsj(dot)com/article/SB10001424052748703999304575399523349443634(dot)html

Honda refuses to do recalls to give the public a false idea that they have a good car. Hondu never racalled the shitty popping trannies in the SI and Accord V6. Their auto trannies are disposable after 50,000 miles. The Civic axle snaps when hitting a pothole. Idiot.

  • @dougdangger

I have no idea what shit is spewing outta your mouth .

Have you not heard Toyota's slogan "Moving Forward." ?

Clearly, that's what all their cars are doing , literally .

Look at the family that died because they were inside a lexus and they had a sticky gas pedal .

What kinda bullshit is that ?

Here's a new slogan for you you toyota dick-rider.

    Toyota, moving forward, literally .

  • @BlazinChikn23

Muahahahaha! FORD: Fix Or Repair Daily

  • @wtfsob123456

    That's the truth .

  • the oddesy exl has more features than the xle sienna for about the same price

  • The upper models only hae saeting for 7, and whenu get te awd, u loose the spare tire... get an oddessy

  • we have a 2010 XLE with the DVD and Nav. and we LOVE it. go toyota!

  • All Dodge/Chrysler needs to do is step up quality control and they will have a great product in their minivans.

  • and there reliability there minivan is always having recalls and breakdowns

  • does anybody know how much is the 2004 toyota sienna manual liftgate?

  • And Toyota doesn't offer cool stuff? An engine is technically a feature, and across the board the 3.5L in the Sienna stomps any of the Dodge engines. The AWD is also only found on Siennas, at least among new minivans.

  • Our cd player isnt working too

  • I have the 2004 sienna and the rear door keeps falling because the lift gates broke

  • MADE IN JAPAN!!!!!!!!!! PRIDE and PROVEN!

  • unfortunately, the sienna is made in the US

  • @urkingod If your Toyota suddenly accelerates, better not hit me or my family... MADE IN JAPAN!!!! Not all that it's cracked up to be!!!!

  • @optimus280 no, more like don't be an idiot and hit the accelerator instead of the brake.

  • @optimus280

The brakes used by Toyota's vehicles in the US were made by CTS, and American-based supplier. So there.

  • @urkingod theyr actually made in the states lol

  • Dodge/Chrysler has great innovation and to date that's about it...they need to work on translating that innovation to great quality vehicles.

  • toyota ftw!

  • i have one and its very quiet and comfortable

  • It would be better to get a chrysler or dodge because it would help them, plus now since they are bankrupt you could get a good deal on it

  • umm..guess why there bankrupt

thats like buying a lemon when you can get a orange..makes no sense

  • and its a toyota, so you know it will last! :]

  • sienna all the way, and better than odessey

  • First of all Honda's navigation graphics suck but the sienna's are like really clear and way way better

  • true!

  • how do the middle seats fold? do they fold just like the 3rd row?

  • yeah 3rd row folds

  • i have one very good cars for a family car they can pull a lot including jet scies and boats

  • ur rite, kbb isnt acquate as consumer reports..

  • Toyota sienna is rated by consumer reports to be more reliable than the honda odyssey so I don't know what they are talking about, kbb needs to get more accurate information.

  • Agree. It's hard to find good info on more things other than initial specs.

We all know the Kia Mini-van is cheaper...but of course there are many many reasons why. A new car is a new car...not many things can go wrong with a Toyota in the long run.

Also, the Sienna is a more comfortable ride than the Honda Odyssy, but marginily .

  • Yeah, I found a really nice looking 2009 Sienna at Manhattan Beach Toyota near LA where I live and it was priced pretty low around $22K...

I thought this sounded like a great deal, and they'd probably let me talk them down on the price a little bit, also. What do you all think? How much are they selling for elsewhere in the country?

  • I agree. So many things to like, but Toyota needs to address these points!

  • this is a practicle car not a stylish car but it could be for some

  • I think it would be cool if they offered an SE model, but as with the Camry, the SE is like a co-top-of-the-line with the XLE, or Limited in the Sienna's case.

I'd like something a hair sportier to drive and a bit sportier to look at, as with the exterior mods the Camry SE gets. A 6-speed auto would be nice too.

We'll see what the next Sienna, due in a year or so, will offer us. Excellent already!

  • I love my Sienna!!!

  • The interior is really nice.

  • i agree with you dontporget

  • sienna.

    has best ride

    most quiet

    most fuel economy

  • @dontporget and a horrible and ridiculous reputation, i lol my ass off everytime i pass someone in the swagger wagon LOl on the road.

  • @dontporget

    its also looks better

  • same hear cause the grand caravan has a mean nice look!

  • Citroen Picasso kills everything
