What a great group of people putting such quality information out there. It's depressing to see such an amazing team lose their teaching inspiration that has touched thousands of lives. If you ever get your drive back be sure to let me know. I will be be lurking somewhere in digital space with return visits to your lesson plans to seek answers to questions and to give me inspiration and direction. I hope you find as much passion in all your future endeavors as you had here
Just found you and subscribed - Thanks for all you have done, I look forward to going through the back-logs. Greatest of luck in your future adventures!
it's a pity.. learned so many things from you.. hope now you enjoy something as much as you enjoyed this. good luck out there.. thanx a lot! greatings from Greece
@Serafim12003 i don't know if you're asking about nikon lenses only. lilkiwiguy87 team don't make photos with nikons; they use leicas exclusively. their most frequently used leica lenses are 21mm f/1.4 asph summilux-m, 50mm f/0.95 asph noctilux-m, and 90mm f/2.0 asph summicron-m.
@Lilkiwiguy87 If you have to choose up to three lenses for the next five years, which would it be? I saw all the tutorials on YouTube and I'm very curious, please reply.
@Serafim12003 oh. you didn't mention nikon and zeiss in your first comment. they would choose nikon 28mm f/1.4d af, nikon 58mm f/1.2 ais noctilux, and zeiss 100mm f/2.0 t* makro-planar zf.2
@Serafim12003 no sweat. you'll have to wait till the weekend because the spina family is on vacation in new zealand at this moment. i flagged your comment so they'll get back at ya.
What a pitty, just yesterday I discovered your site and I liked so much. I found that your reviews, tutorials, music and jokes are great (specially the ones about Ken Rockwell). I didn't sleep the whole night seeing your material. Thank you very much for what you did. Best wishes (I live in Austria but I'm from Peru).
Thanks for all the great videos. Helped me a lot. I hope you'll find yourselves inspired to do other things, like you inspired me to photograph with your channel.
One thing I have learned is to never say never (except when you say "never say never"). At any rate, I appreciated your work, and I wish you the best always! God bless you all.
Thanks for all that you have done, i know that good things can't last and i am thankful for what has been produced. I hope you find as much assistance in life as you have provided the viewers of Nikon Help Hotline.
I can only describe what you have produced here as invaluable.
This channel have totally best reviews all over internet. Music is great, Information is clear. I wanna say Thank You for every review. I will miss you guys. Sad.
im sorry to know this, hope that you people could run this channel in more years to come, thanks for all the infos i learned from this channel, i trully appreciate it..
I have learned a lot from you guys. Thanks so much for the great quality and content of your videos. Friends of mine have even become Nikon users because of your vids. Much appreciation!!
This is some kind of sad thing, but understandable for sure. Nothing lasts forever mates. Thank's for all the good stuff you made here. It was probably my only source for learning this stuff. I was too busy for shooting photo's, not watching youtube etc. It still continues. You have solved some of my problems with camera/lens and thank's for that. I was too impatient for watching any boring videos about some tech issues or so, you I always watched your videos. All the best!
it's really sad to view this video. I am "at the heart of the Images" and your videos have provide a lot of great information about lens. I had bought the 180mm AF-D without thinking much after looking for your review and I never regret it.
Wishes you all the best wishes, I really hope you will come back here, maybe next month or next year, i'll be waiting.
Thank you very much for all the help and information you have provided over the years. It's very sad to see such a great channel go. I wish you good luck in whatever you do in the future!
Thanks so much for all your videos! I learned so much from these and I really appreciate the fact that you are leaving them up for future reference as I refer back to them often. Thanks again and good luck with everything!
This is very bad news!! You guys are the best Nikon lens reviewer on youtube and there are so many lens that we all would like to see you review them. I don't mind if you are going to put one video a month...
Thanks guys for all the help and wishing you all the best for your future endeavors. I'm sure you can get as many support as you guys did for this channel.
Probably some prozac pills will cheer you up again. Just kidding! These videos are of great help and definitely a source to look after. We need more reliable sources on you tube that get to the point and not cheesie videos. Thanks for all.
sigh... bad news to wake up to.. However best of luck in your future projects.. Gotten alot of help from your videos over the past year! God speed guys..
Sad news, thats all that I can say. But I can say one thing more:
Thank you. Thank you very much. Thanks to you I've bought nice lenses (thanks to the reviews) and I've learned some new skills and techniques. I've learned so much from your videos, especially explanation and ways to shoot in different situations.
You guys must be proud of the job that you've done. If not, you should be!! Best photography channel in Youtube!! For now and forever!
Thanks so much for everything you've done: I'm a far better photographer and a far better-informed photographer because of you guys (meaning I'm just crap as opposed to seriously crap).
You'll be missed. Thanks again, and good luck with it all.
Rich... You might want to share this video with the immature guys on DPreview forums. It will probably cheer them up since they hate us so much for no reason.
I believe all of your subscribers will miss you and your current videos will continue to be watched numerous times from people passionate about photography! Good look with whatever you undertake as future projects!
I hate to hear this!! AARRRGH!! WHY?!? Well, good luck to Joey and company and thanks for all the vlogs. You guys have put up some awesome, informative videos during the past few years. You've helped a ton of people and kept us entertained along the way. Well, if you don't mind I'm gonna go back and watch all your videos (I know I've missed a few) and ask questions when I need to. THANKS!!!
Aw. I'm kind of sad that you guys will be gone, but I really appreciate you leaving the channel open. That way, I might be able to go back and re-watch a video every now and then.
I also really loved when you guys use EitS songs as the music to your videos, so this sign off was perfect, for me at least.
And do not forget that we will be still around, too, just to answer questions.
Indeed, we got tired of John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Explosions in the Sky turned out to be everyone's new favorite artist, so, we downloaded a couple more off iTunes for the sake of it. :)

• Zeiss 100mm ƒ/2.0 T* Makro-Planar ZF.2

Lilkiwiguy87 1 year ago
@Lilkiwiguy87 aww. make money as motivations, it always works lol. or helping african little children. or vietnamese.
well one thing though from your videos, there are no example images from what the particular lens can produce.
Bobesque 1 year ago
We are not like DomBowerPhoto and JaredPolin because we do not need money. Not to mention, money will not grant any motivation for us.
It is quite difficult to judge a lens' overall optical quality on a YouTube video.
